If you’ve been looking for any excuse to book a Disney Cruise, we might have just found the promotion that makes you officially pack your Mickey ears and head to port.
It’s official — As of January 27th, 2026, Southwest Airlines is no longer offering open seating and is welcoming assigned seating.
Instead of having all seats be the same style and space, they’re also adding two additional seating options. Do you always fly Southwest? You’ll want to read this before booking your next flight.
We know snacks around Disney World can be expensive, but sometimes they can be EXPENSIVE. Like, “oh my gosh, I can’t believe I spent this amount of money on a single snack,” kinda expensive. That being said, sometimes those high prices are totally worth it.
This time, we aren’t taking you to an uber fancy restaurant that has a 3-month-long waiting list. We’re going straight to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, home to The Cake Bake Shop Bakery, which has made us almost (almost) immune to $22 slices of cake, but we’re taking a break from cake and putting our fork into something else.
Listen: I’ve tried a lot of fries in my life. I’ve had them covered in barbecue pork, on the side of buffalo chicken tenders, and absolutely smothered in gravy. Disney World is able to take a classic boat of French fries and transform them into something I’ve never tasted before.
Let me introduce you to a new set of fries that might just be staying at the top of my fries list (and yes, I have one — don’t judge). We’re heading to The Daily Poutine at Disney Springs, which has had some of my favorite fry dishes, to see if these are worth the price.
Let it go! Let it go! Can’t hold it back anymore…and neither can Disney because Frozen Ever After is closing down for a huge refurbishment.
Frozen Ever After is one of my favorite rides in all of EPCOT ever since it opened in 2016 (rest in peace Maelstrom), and I don’t care that it’s almost always busy — I can’t go to EPCOT and not ride it! I’m okay with skipping this ride for a bit because the updates are SO worth the closure.
Big things are brewing in the theme parks this week! Disney just revealed the opening date (and prices) for the BRAND-NEW Grand Floridian Tea Room, Universal is gearing up for a brand-new roller coaster, AND the newest hotel in Disney World is really starting to take shape
All of the latest Disney and theme park news is coming up right now on DFB Guide.
Lunar New Year has hit Disney California Adventure! The festival runs until February 22nd, and we’re pretty excited to try all the food, see the entertainment, and buy way too much merchandise.
There are different food booths set up around the park, and we’re heading to Lucky 8 Lantern to see what they have this year. We’re bringing you all the details right here so you can decide if it’s worth the stop.
It’s officially festival time at Disney California Adventure! The 2026 Lunar New Year Festival is back until February 22nd, and now that it’s the Year of the Horse, we have new festival food to try across the park.

Wrapped with Love Booth
There are food booths, entertainment, character signings, and more, and here at DFB, we’re going to try them all! We’re heading to Wrapped with Love to see what you need to try when you visit.
I go to Disney World every week, and there is something I have never, EVER gone to Disney World without — my trusty water bottle. Florida can get super hot during most vacations, and a full water bottle can save the day when it’s too hot.
But I hear you asking, “Which water bottle should I bring?” We’ve asked the team here at DFB, and one kept coming back — the iconic Owala water bottle. Most of our team swears by these, so let’s talk about why this might be the perfect water bottle for you.
Here at Disney Food Blog, we’re pretty obsessed with festival food. We love going from booth to booth and picking up limited-time snacks in those little paper dishes. Disneyland’s Lunar New Year Festival is officially here, and we’re trying all the food!
We stopped by Prosperity Bao & Buns in Disney California Adventure to see what’s in store — what’s new, what’s returning, and what you can’t miss when you visit. The festival is packed with exclusive meet and greets, special entertainment, and merchandise, and we’re exploring it all. Let’s see if Prosperity Bao & Buns should be on your “must-visit” list.
