The Disneyland Donut Cart has done it again! They’ve brought back the Dole Whip Donut!
Another Glittery Unicorn Cupcake Gallops Into Disney World!
has long been one of our favorite spots to check out rotating cupcakes. Located at the BoardWalk Inn and Villas, this counter service location is conveniently located for an afternoon break from both Epcot and Hollywood Studios (and it’s near Ample Hills Creamery, which we love!)
Everything You Want and Need for Toy Story Land!
is finally OPEN! And with all the fun you’ll have hitting the rides and digging into the eats (make time for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Woody’s Lunch Box!), you know you’re going to have a blast!
But there’s no reason you can’t start having some Toy Story Land fun before you even set foot in this brand new land!
Here are some Toy Story items that you need to have in your life almost as much as you need that Slinky Dog headband…
Okay, so while Toy Story Land is full (and we mean FULL) of incredible, larger-than-life toys and decor, one thing there’s not an abundance of is shade. [Read more…]
News & Review: Twinkie Sundae and Peter Pan Float at Storybook Treats!
If you find yourself in the Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland at Walt Disney World, and you’re craving something unique and sweet, get yourself over to Storybook Treats because this quick service spot is playing fast and loose with some creative goodies!
The current menu features the brand new, summer-ready Peter Pan Float (which we shared with you a couple of days ago) and a Twinkie Sundae. Just let that sink in for a minute.
The Return of Cheeseburger Spring Rolls in Disney World!!
Did you hear that? There are practically shouts of joy rising from Adventureland in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom… because the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls are BACK!!!
These beloved rolls arrived as an under-the-radar test item at the Adventureland Egg Roll Cart a few years ago and gained a bit of a cult following. But one day — POOF! — they disappeared, much to our chagrin. But — for now, anyway! — they’re back! [Read more…]
Ghirardelli Incredibles Sundae Available for a Limited Time at Disney Parks!
Pixar, Pixar, Pixar: you’re keeping us busy here at the DFB! With the fabulous grand opening of Pixar Pier at Disneyland Resort and the barely-out-of-the-box Toy Story Land that just opened at Walt Disney World, we’re on Pixar overload (and WE LOVE IT).
Review: Rose & Crown at Walt Disney World’s Epcot
Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room
is a favorite of many Walt Disney World guests — and it’s easy to see why.
The charm of this table service restaurant is apparent from the curb, as the facades of the United Kingdom in Epcot’s World Showcase blend from one architectural era to the next. And inside the doors? The charm continues.
But all the charm in the world doesn’t mean a thing if the food isn’t good — and here, it’s good. Almost across the board, we’ve enjoyed our visits to Rose & Crown, no matter whether we dined in the Dining Room or in the Rose & Crown Pub that’s adjacent to the restaurant proper.
On our last visit, we tried a Battered Bangers and Mash dish in the pub, but on this most recent visit, we were in the mood for the Dining Room — and those entrees!
Atmosphere
Rose & Crown impresses from the jump, with the exteriors heavy and classic. We love the dark green window casings of the Rose & Crown Pub.
Five Things You HAVE to Eat in Disney World’s Toy Story Land!
If you’re one of the many, MANY people who are taking in all the sights of Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you’re going to need to recharge your batteries at some point, as we TOYS say! Enter Woody’s Lunch Box! This Quick Service spot is ca-razy fun, with clever details everywhere you look.
We’ve tried EVERYTHING on the menu, and a few things more than once (hello TOTCHOS 👀), but unless you’ve got a bottomless stomach (or several TSL visits planned!), you’ll need to narrow that menu down to the MUST EATS. So here ya go, cowboys and cowgirls — the Five Things You HAVE to Eat in Toy Story Land!
Haunted Mansion Starbucks Mug Selling Out FAST In Disneyland!
New Orleans Square
is one of our favorite areas of Disneyland Resort — and not just because it’s the home of Cafe Orleans, where we happily nosh on three of our top Disney Parks eats: the Monte Cristo sandwich, Pommes Frites with amazing Spicy Cajun Remoulade, and Mickey-Shaped beignets (which we can finally enjoy at Walt Disney World, too!).
New Orleans Square also happens to be the location of two of the park’s most iconic rides: Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion. And it’s these must-do attractions that have been immortalized as only Starbucks can: on a You Are Here Mug!
