Our journey recently took us to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Here are all the latest updates since our last visit!

During our visit to the Lodge yesterday, we discovered the Wilderness Lodge Pumpkin Patch Scavenger Hunt, simply perfect for the Spooky Season! If you’ve ever stayed at Wilderness Lodge, you may be familiar with the popular Hidden Mickey Hunt here (which, for future reference, offers a ton of year-round fun). We’ve been all over Disney World trying out ALL the Halloween snacks! We got our fill of candy with the Worms ‘n’ Dirt Sundae, were tempted by the Poison Candied Apple, and had enough Pumpkin Spice coffee to last us until next year. Our mission is to leave no snack untasted this Halloween season. So, we headed to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge to try the Spooky Mickey Brownie from Roaring Fork. #NoSnackLeftBehind

We’ve tried everything from a Mike Wazowski Cake to a Tiramisu that is basically a pumpkin spice latte in food form! But, the Halloween fun is just getting started!
We jump at any chance we get to visit Wilderness Lodge to bring you info on updates and changes. On the hottest day in the parks the Wilderness Lodge still feels like a cozy fall day.

There aren’t any big new changes to report but we did notice a few interesting things we wanted to share with you!
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is a stunning resort, with a Pacific Northwest theme and a location convenient to boating on over to the Magic Kingdom.

In addition to having normal guest rooms, this deluxe resort is also a Disney Vacation Club Resort, featuring the Copper Creek Villas & Cabins and Boulder Ridge Villas!
Did you hear the news? Just last week, Mobile Order in Disney World expanded to include a Table Service restaurant for the first time, and today we’re learning a few more details on this updated feature.

But first, a bit of background: Mobile Order made its Disney World debut in May 2017. Launched within the My Disney Experience app, the feature allows guests to pre-order and pre-pay for their food at participating Counter Service restaurants, thereby saving time which would otherwise be spent in line. This recent expansion, though, introduced Mobile Order to a Table Service restaurant for the first time with To Go service from Sanaa in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. [Read more…]
