Magic Kingdom can surprise you
In all our time in the Disney World parks, we’ve found some strange souvenirs. There have been creepy alien keychains, weird dinosaur lightsabers, gross sticky dinosaur toys, and (who could forget) spaghetti Stitch. But this new holiday (yes, it’s supposed to be FESTIVE) souvenir had us a little creeped out and, yet, kind of giddy???

We’ve gotten to know Connections Eatery and the Creations Shop, rocked out on Cosmic Rewind, and journeyed through water with Moana. But, even more elements of the EPCOT Transformation will soon be open and we’ve got all the details.

December is easily one of the busiest months of the year in Disney World.
The holidays are HERE!
However, it’s typically busier toward the end of the month with the Christmas and New Year holidays. So imagine our surprise when we walk into Disney World today and it’s, like, bonkers busy.

To say that the Star Wars hotel-that-wasn’t-really-a-hotel was controversial might be an understatement, and there were some things about the whole interactive LARP-like experience that still leave Disney fans scratching their heads. However, a lot of things about the Galactic Starcruiser just outright shocked fans, so let’s take a look at those things that had us all like 😲.

Most recently, we’ve seen a massive EPCOT transformation begin to head toward completion. We’ve even seen the TRON ride finally open. There are new restaurants on the way. Plus Disney has some BIG plans for other parts of the resort. Some of those plans, though, are SUPER secret — and well, WE HAVE QUESTIONS.

World Celebration
EPCOT has been in limbo with construction for YEARS, now. But it’s all set to be over this month (according to Disney). And little by little, we are seeing updates and changes appear around the park. We recently spotted a change that had us both excited and possibly a little startled…? At this point, we don’t know if we love it or hate it.
When it comes to box office returns, 2023 just really hasn’t been Disney’s year.

Although we saw a LOT of big Disney movies released this year, from Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny to The Marvels to Wish and more, the box office returns for those movies have come in under expectations. But why? Well, according to Disney CEO Bob Iger, part of the problem may be focusing on quantity over quality.
