Tomorrowland
Lately, guests at Disney World have been very excited about the new meet-and-greet over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Moana has made her debut in that park, and the line to meet her can be HOURS long. (We recommend rope-dropping that attraction if you’re hoping to meet her without waiting too long.) But now, there’s a different character to get excited about over in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. One of the coolest effects has finally returned to the Festival of Fantasy parade in Magic Kingdom.

Back in April, the Maleficent dragon caught fire during a showing of Fantasmic! in Disneyland. Following the accident, Disney made the call to temporarily suspend similar fire effects at all Disney parks for a while. Disney’s statement said, “We are temporarily suspending fire effects similar to those used at Disneyland Park’s Fantasmic! at select shows and entertainment experiences globally out of an abundance of caution following the Fantasmic! prop fire at Disneyland Park.” That meant that the Maleficent dragon’s fire-breathing effect at the Magic Kingdom parade in Disneyland was temporarily paused. Staying at a Disney World hotel allows you to get into the parks early and stay late (and these perks have been extended through 2024!) and they provide free transportation to the parks. Not only that, but many have restaurants that are destinations on their own, and new upgrades are being added constantly. Now, it looks like the booking process for Disney World hotels will be getting a major overhaul!

Disney has become involved in a number of lawsuits recently — from ones related to the battle with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis over Disney’s former Reedy Creek Improvement District to another related to an investor in the Company, and another regarding the Park Pass system.
