Magic Kingdom is a fan-favorite theme park, especially during the holiday season. This iconic park is what many people immediately think of when they start planning their Disney World vacation. There’s the magnificent Cinderella Castle, Main St., U.S.A., and the classic Disney rides.
One thing to consider when you’re planning your trip to Magic Kingdom is your transportation. Unfortunately, unlike the other Disney World parks, you can’t park your car right near the entrance. You either have to jump on the Monorail at one of the surrounding hotels, take a bus from the other hotels, or park at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), where you’ll then either take the Ferryboats or the Monorail. If you’re planning to park at the TTC on your way to Magic Kingdom in the coming months, we have some bad news about the Ferry you’ll want to think about before hopping on the boat.
If you love all things New Orleans, The Princess and the Frog, and Mickey beignets, then you might have a stay at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort on your list for your next Disney World trip.
Now, you have two choices at Port Orleans, including the French Quarter, which is designed to remind you of New Orleans. But there’s also the more relaxed Riverside part of the resort, where you’ll feel like you’re living in the bayou. We just recently stayed in Port Orleans — Riverside in Alligator Bayou, and we’re giving you a full room tour so you can see if this might be the room for you!
Character dining might be one of the most magical ways to meet your favorite Disney characters all at the comfort of your own table.
We’re heading to 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for breakfast, and we’re taking you along with us. Is the food and characters worth the price? Let’s find out.
Are you heading to Universal Orlando soon? Now is a great time to visit the resort. Not only do you get to experience the updated Wicked: The Experience, but you can also visit Epic Universe (which is…dare we say…EPIC) and see all the holiday decorations and meet the Grinch.
However, if you plan on visiting Universal Orlando next week and had plans to ride one popular ride, you may just be out of luck: Hogwarts Express will be temporarily closing soon.
It’s never too early to stock up on Disney World essentials!
I’m the type of Disney adult that’s up at 5 AM making Advance Dining Reservations, comparing hotel prices like it’s my full-time job (well, it kind of is!), and making a spreadsheet to help plan our entire itinerary seven months before we go on the trip. That also means I’m the type of Disney adult that saves every essential I need for my next trip and waits until a huge sale drops to buy them! Thanks to the huge deals for Amazon’s Black Friday event, that’s exactly what I did, and I’m sharing DFB’s favorite park finds with you now!
Gone are the days when you lined up outside the mall at 5 AM to fight everyone else for the best Black Friday deals.
Now, Black Friday has become a multi-week-long event, and this year, Amazon’s deals are running from November 20th to December 1st! Whether you’re looking for gifts to give loved ones this holiday season or you’re buying a gift for yourself (hey, you deserve it!), these are the Black Friday deals Disney Adults are freaking out about!
It’s hard to believe that Disney World closed over five years ago, although there are still some things that haven’t yet returned to the park (and may never return again). We miss things like package delivery to hotels from the parks, food seminars and demonstrations at the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, and other things that feel like they’ve been gone forever.
However, some pre-pandemic traditions ARE returning to the parks, even now, five years later. This morning, we witnessed a marching band in EPCOT, which we haven’t seen since 2020.
There’s nothing better than cuddling up on the couch in a Disney sweatshirt to watch a Disney movie. That’s when our comfort level reaches a 10!
Disney sweatshirts are a must, especially as the weather gets colder and colder. Luckily, Disney just dropped a brand new pullover collection featuring some classic characters with timeless designs. Just when I said I was done buying Disney merchandise for myself this year…
