But we also got even MORE details about the Galactic Starcruiser, aka the Star Wars Hotel, including new information about how the lightsaber training experience will work.

We’ve already heard a bit about the food you’ll find on the ship, what the experience will be like when you step aboard, and more. We’ve also gotten a peek at some of the hotel rooms on the ship, including one equipped with what looked like TINY bunk beds. But, just how small or big are those bunk beds? We’ve got some NEW details.

One of the parts of the hotel that we’ve also been getting some information on (and seeing images for) are those hotel rooms. And today we’re debunking some myths (like how small the beds are) and giving more details on the rooms at this pricey new hotel experience.
You’ve had space food in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and food in space at EPCOT’s Space 220, but soon fans will get to get another space eating experience at the Star Wars Hotel (Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser).

As part of this cruise-type experience, guests will get the chance to eat at unique spots, interact with Star Wars characters, and more. One of the most anticipated parts of the experience is the ability for guests to train with a lightsaber. Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is an upcoming fully immersive experience that features both a hotel and an interactive storyline placing you in the world of Star Wars!

The Starcruiser will have a ton of unique activities available like lightsaber training, Sabacc lessons, dining with the captain, and more. There will also be an excursion to Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios with a ride on Rise of the Resistance, Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, and lunch at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. This groundbreaking hotel experience is set to open on March 1st, 2022 and there’s a way that you could be one of the first people to stay there for FREE!

There’s lightsaber training, unique food offerings (looking at you, blue shrimp), an immersive storyline, a trip to Galaxy’s Edge, and more. Booking windows initially opened early for select guests, like Annual Passholders, and then general booking opened on October 28th. Previously, reservations were only available through September, but now they’re available for the remainder of 2022. But, before you book, you should know that some dates have already filled up!
