The new year has begun, and what better way to start the year than with lunch at one of our favorite Walt Disney World table service restaurants: Liberty Tree Tavern! You know this colonial-esque spot as the premier place to get a turkey dinner in Magic Kingdom, but the lunch menu also offers a la carte options, so I got into that for ya, too!
Liberty Tree Tavern takes its colonial roots seriously, and diners can see that in the decor. Each room is packed to the gills with details from the time period, and if you look closely, you’ll see that rooms are themed to colonial figures. George Washington gets a place of prominence over the mantle in his room.
We just got a sneak peek at the brand new “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party” starting in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom this Friday, January 18 — and we can’t wait to see the parade in person now!
In previous announcements we learned this would be a high-energy, interactive parade celebrating all things Mickey and Minnie Mouse in a Main Street, U.S.A. street party. A new video just posted by Disney gives a behind the scenes look at the prep for this parade, the redecorated floats, and more!
Happy Monday to you! We’re back with another DFB Video today, and we’re telling you to LOOK DOWN in Walt Disney World!
Why? Because there are a TON of cool “Easter Eggs” (hidden little touches you can usually only find if you take time to look for them) on the ground all over Disney World! We’re taking you on a trip through all four parks (and even a Resort or two) to show you 20 of our favorites. We hope you’ll join us in looking down in our latest DFB YouTube Video!

at Walt Disney World’s Polynesian Village Resort is an oasis of creative drinks and tiki decor. Truly: grabbing a drink here is always a fun time.
You never really know what’s going to happen around here…
And our Disney pal Daniel (hi, @WanderDisney!) recently visited with Trader Sam and shared his thoughts on some of the bar’s drink options.
The Tropical Snowstorm is listed on the menu’s limited time, seasonsl insert, but Daniel notes that all the drinks on this page are available to order all year. (So long as the bar has the ingredients, you can get one!) The Tropical Snowstorm is Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, Coconut Cream, Cinnamon, and Nutmeg!
Hope your weekend is going great so far! We’re back with another DFB Video this weekend, and we’re talking about what to eat when you’re tired of sweet treats in Disney World!
Whether you lean towards salty snacks in general or maybe you are just looking for some great savory suggestions, we’ve got them for you! We’re talking mac and cheese, poutine varieties, popcorn, Totchos (that’s tater tot nachos), and much more in our latest DFB YouTube Video!
