“No cheeses for us meeces?” Well, actually, MANY cheeses for us meeces!
If you recognize that quote, you’re a real one, and you may or may not be totally obsessed with The Muppets Christmas Carol like we are. It’s a holiday staple in our house that we watch every single year to bring on the Christmas spirit (or Christmas ghost!). The Disney Store is releasing a Loungefly and other souvenirs to celebrate, and we know they will sell out fast.
Christmas at Disney World comes with plenty of decisions. Which holiday snacks are worth your money? Is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party worth the ticket price? And, perhaps most importantly, where are you supposed to meet SANTA?
Believe it or not, you’ve got quite a few options. Some require expensive theme park tickets, others involve elaborate holiday meals, and a few let you meet the big guy without spending a dime. We recently put together our rankings of the BEST and WORST places to meet Santa in Disney World in 2026, and one location came VERY close to taking our top spot. Disney Springs landed at #2 on our list, and we’ve got some pretty good reasons for putting it there. But before you grab your Christmas list and head out the door, keep a few things in mind.
RAWR! Monstropolis opens in Hollywood Studios in 2026, so I’m practicing my monster speech to fit right into the city. Don’t worry, I heard there will be translators too. I have dreamed of walking into the world of Monsters, Inc., and the time is almost here, so we’re grabbing our hard hats and helping Disney get it going!
While most of Monstropolis in 2027 is ready, the hanging door roller coaster will take a bit longer. We got the latest update on the roller coaster, and it’s looking SO good!
Disney World has its rules. But since our Disney Food Blog team is in the parks EVERY SINGLE DAY, we’ve come up with our OWN set of rules.
And if you want a great Disney World trip ahead of ya…. Then you’re gonna wanna follow ‘em, too.
Picture this: you are planning your perfect Disney vacation, the flights are booked, the hotel is picked out, dining reservations are made. Everything appears to be figured out, UNTIL you realize: What am I going to wear?

We’re less than three months away from 2027 (someone PLEASE slow down time), which means it’s time to start talking about planning your Disney World vacations for next year — I know, I can’t believe it either.
You’re going to need to figure out where to stay, where to eat, what to ride, and so much more, so it’s important you know what’s going to be CLOSED on your trip. But don’t worry, we do the work for you — we have a FULL list of the rides, restaurants, and hotels that have confirmed closures in 2027. Let’s go through them, so you’re not caught by surprise on your next vacation!
Is it really a trip to Disney World without going to Magic Kingdom? For me, no! I have to see the castle and walk down Main Street, U.S.A., but a few other team members think Animal Kingdom is enough. But have you had an ice cream bar and popcorn while watching fireworks?
Magic Kingdom is the highlight of the Disney World trip, but it’s about to go through some major changes, so here’s a heads up before you throw on your Mickey ears and start walking under the train station.
Disney just made a major change to one of the resort’s most popular rides in hopes of fixing a controversial issue… and may have actually just made the issue WORSE!
Since its opening back in 2022, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has been one of the most popular rides not just at Disney World, but in the country! In fact, since the ride shifted from a virtual queue to a standby line in 2025, making it available to any guest willing to wait, it has often had the highest average wait of any attraction at the resort’s four theme parks, with times often over an hour each week. However, the ride had an issue… in its queue.
One of the best ways to commemorate your Disney World trip is by taking pictures you’ll cherish forever. Luckily for you, Disney has professional photographers all around the parks, resorts, and even Disney Springs to capture your magical moments.
If you want some villainous photos to commemorate this spooky season, Disney has you covered. Head to Disney Springs to take photos in iconic Disney villain lairs and pose with some frightfully fun sidekicks!
