It’s the most wonderful time of year at Disney California Adventure Park because the Disney Festival of Holidays has returned! The 2023 Festival dates are November 10th, 2023, through January 7th, 2024.

The 2023 Disney California Adventure Festival of Holidays has officially begun at Disney California Adventure park! The festival runs from now through January 7th, 2024. While it’s been around for a while, the rules surrounding it have changed quite a bit over the past few years. After the COVID-19 closures of 2020, Cast Member lanyards were set aside in favor of pin trading boards across Disney’s parks. Lanyards have slowly started to return, but in late 2023, a new rule was put in place that could affect your experience again!

Not a lot of folks did as the hotel-meets-spaceship interactive experience was only open for a little over a year, although many Star Wars fans didn’t visit because of its price point. For those who did get to hop onboard the Halcyon, though, there was an unforgettable experience that involved being part of a Star Wars story, lightsaber training, space-themed dining, and more. Well, some folks have started a tribute for the hotel showing that it might be gone, but it’s far from forgotten.

Through January 7th, 2024, you can eat and drink your way around the festival, check out unique entertainment, and more. We’ve been trying all of the booths this year, and while there are tons of great food options, we’ve been extra excited about one booth in particular. Favorite Things has been around since 2018, and often it has offered some of our, well, favorite things! Come see how it went this year.
