Christmas in Magic Kingdom
The holidays are in full swing at each of the parks in Disney World. You can see all the decorations, smell all the cozy gingerbread, and eat all the new holiday treats. And one new treat in Magic Kingdom is possibly the most festive snack we’ve seen yet!
It’s hard to believe that we’re nearing the end of 2023, and with that, the end of Disney’s 100th Anniversary Celebration.

We celebrated hard both inside and outside of the Disney Parks, and some of our favorite brands and companies other than Disney even joined in on the celebration. One of those companies was McDonald’s! If you’ve followed along with the team here at DFB for a while, then you probably already know that we’re all suckers for the occasional Happy Meal. (A guilty pleasure cheeseburger and a toy?) Count us in! Anyway, McDonald’s actually released 62 (!!!) new Disney100 Happy Meal toys that you can collect between now and December 4th. (That’s gonna take a LOT of Happy Meals to collect them all.) While all of them are great, there are a few that we’re particularly excited about. Let’s check them out!
Do you smell that? It smells a bit sweet and spicy. There are blends of ginger, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and brown sugar. It has our mouths watering, but what could it be?
IT’S OPEN.
It’s gingerbread! We can smell that delicious cozy scent all through Disney’s Grand Floridian because the beautiful, iconic gingerbread house is officially complete and open! Come with us to check it out.
Are you ready to book your next Disney vacation? It’s a busy time at Disney World as the holiday season kicks off this week with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the all-new Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Later this month the 2023 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays starts on November 24th and runs through December 30th. You don’t want to miss a minute of the festivities!

Some issues can be handled at First Aid in the Disney World parks, while others may require a visit to a nearby Urgent Care center. In some unfortunate circumstances, a visit to the emergency room may be warranted.
