Quite a few things are getting UPDATES in Disney World right now!
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is getting refurbished from top to bottom, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is getting a new DVC tower, and Splash Mountain was closed at the beginning of this year to become Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom. But soon, one refurbished restaurant will be reopening!
There are few things in this world we love more than Disney — but our furry family members are definitely on the list.

In January of 2023, Disney announced that Trail’s End Restaurant at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground would close for refurbishment. In the past, the restaurant served family-style skillets for breakfast and dinner, and was a fan-favorite choice for many Disney World visitors. In the past, this spot has been a table service restaurant at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds. However, it had previously been announced that a refurbishment meant this spot would be getting some pretty big changes soon. Now we’ve got some more details on what these changes are!

Port of San Fransokyo Construction
Disney has been working hard to turn a section of Disney California Adventure into Sanfransokyo Square, which is inspired by the film Big Hero 6. We’ve seen great progress on this part of the park, and now we’ve got big news — we know when part of it opens!
Besides the wait times, park hours, and park maps, Mobile Order is one of the most useful features of the My Disney Experience app!

Using the system in Disney World will often help you get your meals faster than if you waited in line, and it makes it easier to order when you can see the whole menu right there on your phone. A while back, Disney updated the Mobile Order system in the app to make it a bit easier to use, and when they did, they made a change that you probably didn’t know about!
There are lots of good places to meet characters in Disney World. You can meet Mickey at Town Square Theater in Magic Kingdom, say hello to Anna and Elsa in the Norway pavilion of EPCOT‘s World Showcase, and watch lots of characters go by on floats on the Discovery River in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
