There’s lots of exciting things going on in Orlando this holiday season — Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is returning to Disney World while a new Santa meet and greet will be happening in Disney Springs. However, things often get really expensive around Orlando during the holiday season, and it can really break the bank to make a trip happen. We’re sure a lot of you are already planning your holiday trips to the parks to check out those decorations, EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays, see Santa Claus, and maybe even go to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (which is back for the first time since 2019!). Another important thing to plan ahead of time is where you’re going to eat some of your meals, and if you’re looking for a special place to dine to get you in the holiday spirit, we’ve put together a list for ya! Let’s talk about the BEST restaurants for this holiday season in Disney World!
As a member of the DFB Team, I work remotely. I’m also single, and I love a good road trip, so earlier this year I decided to try out the “digital nomad” lifestyle.

I gave up my permanent residence, sold almost everything I own, and started traveling full-time. I house-sit, stay in Airbnbs, and in hotel rooms for an occasional night or two.
Disney’s BoardWalk is going through a HUGE transformation.

Not only did the BoardWalk Deli just open up, but next year we can also expect a brand new table service restaurant, and the hotel’s lobby and guest rooms are getting a makeover as well. Belle Vue Lounge recently got a new look, and they’ve updated their menu to match! Come with us to try some of the NEW drinks available at Belle Vue Lounge!
The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary is coming up soon, and the main hub for the celebration will be Disneyland Resort. The party is slated to begin on January 27th, 2023.

SO many things have reopened or returned in Disney World over the past several months.
France Pavilion in EPCOT
We’ve seen character meals come back, restaurants reopen, meet and greets go back to normal, and more. But, while so much has been reopening, some things have remained closed, like several table service restaurants in Disney World. We have heard no word on when these dining spots could reopen…until now! Disney recently announced the reopening of Monsieur Paul in EPCOT’s France Pavilion, and reservations are available RIGHT NOW!
With the millions of people that go to Disney World each year, not everyone you meet is going to be all butterflies and rainbows all the time. And, honestly, none of us are! We totally understand getting frustrated in certain moments – you’re hot, you’re tired, and your feet hurt, which makes it easier to get upset about little things. You also most likely spent a LOT of money to be at Disney World, and want to make sure you’re having the best time as possible.

But, having a moment of frustration is MUCH different than just being straight up rude to the people around you. People like this really put a damper on the magical experience for everyone else, but, you should be prepared for the kinds of people you might encounter that are not so pleasant. So, let’s talk about the WORST people you will meet in Disney World.
