If you’re an avid Disney Food Blog reader, you know we’ve basically become construction experts at Hollywood Studios by now. Between the new Monsters, Inc land and the upcoming Walt Disney Studios, there’s so much news to cover. So when our bestie @bioreconstruct posted construction updates, we had to share!
The Walt Disney Studios Courtyard already has some new sidewalk construction and a temporary tent along the former Star Wars: Launch Bay. They finished the sidewalk along Disney Jr, which connects to the prettiest NEW trees!
We’ve got some good news for those who are visiting Disney World, and specifically those staying at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge!

Wilderness Lodge
Late in 2025, Disney announced that there would be a closure of the boat transportation at the resort in January. That closure prevented people from taking a boat from the resort to the Magic Kingdom, and vice versa. Well, we’re happy to say it looks like the closure is officially over!
Some big news is about to come out of The Walt Disney Company, if industry experts are to be believed. Now, it’s no big secret that current CEO Bob Iger is expected to step down this year, so the biggest question all Disney fans have is, “Who will be the next CEO?”
Well, we might have an answer to that VERY soon, as in next week, perhaps even during the company’s Q1 earnings call on Tuesday, February 2nd. Now, Disney fans have been talking about who they would like to see run the company next, and there is one name that keeps coming up over and over again.
It’s almost time for the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, which is, personally, my FAVORITE festival of the year.
This year, the festival is happening from March 4th through June 1st, so you’ll have three months of stunning foliage and garden-inspired eats to explore. But if you’re going for the first time (or even the 50th!), I’m here to share a few things I wish I’d known before going to this festival.

If you’re traveling to Disney World, you’d best come prepared.
It’s no secret that you could get DRENCHED during a Disney World vacation. Central Florida is home to stormy weather, and the Disney Parks have plenty of rides that could leave you with wet hair and damp clothes. That’s why having the right poncho can be so important. We’re sharing with you one of our absolute favorites — and you can get it right now on Amazon at a discounted rate!
Heads up, Disney World visitors: If you’re planning on heading to the “Most Magical Place on Earth” this March, you NEED to have these essentials packed and ready to go.
Thanks to fluctuating temperatures, intersecting EPCOT festivals, and the onset of Spring Break crowds, March is one of the more interesting months to visit Disney World, and one that requires a different set of packing requirements.
Disney’s Celebrate Soulfully festivities are BACK! The park’s Black History Month celebrations are just around the corner, and there are lots of ways to get in on the fun.

Celebrate Soulfully parade in 2024
This year, the festivities are taking place in Disneyland and Walt Disney World in February with art, limited-time snacks, entertainment, and the return of a rare parade! We’re breaking it all down here.
We go to Disney World every single day, and that means we’ve pretty much perfected what to bring in our park bags.
But that doesn’t mean there aren’t items we reach for more than others! If you’re trying to travel light and want to know what the absolute essentials are for your next Disney World trip, you’ve certainly come to the right place. While we might have a park bag full of essentials, here’s what our team actually reached for most during our last Disney World trips.
