Over the past several months, many things have changed all throughout Disney World.
Just in the past few weeks alone, we’ve seen fireworks return to the parks, pre-shows reopen, more hotels and restaurants reopen, and ride queues return to “normal.” So, you might be wondering. What does rope drop look like in the parks right now? Well, we checked out the rope drop situation in Magic Kingdom today and are sharing all the details with you.
Many things have been changing around Disney World lately.
We’ve seen resort rooms get makeovers, the return of fireworks, and many rides go back to normal operations. However, one thing that hasn’t really returned to the parks are the shows. Many are no longer take place or are modified, while others will be returning soon after long closures. The full “Let the Magic Begin” welcome show has not returned to the Magic Kingdom yet. But, each morning, the music is played in Magic Kingdom as guests enter the park. And now, the music of the show has also been altered.
Ever since Disney World reopened, we’ve had a bit of a problem with food in Magic Kingdom.
At first, not very many restaurants were open, causing Mobile Order wait times to rise and windows to get backed up. Then, we had issues finding places to eat later in the evening, because several spots closed before the park did. But as more restaurants reopen, it helps to alleviate those problems, and now it looks like one of our favorites could come back soon!
The situation with COVID-19 continues to change and develop throughout the United States.

Gideon’s Bakehouse has been incredibly popular since it opened in Disney Springs earlier this year.
We’ve seen wait times up to 7 hours just to GET into the store and grab some sweet treats. The bakehouse is famous for its elaborate cookies, but they also have cakes and fun flavored coffee. Earlier this year, Gideon’s released a Cookies & Cream Nitro Cold Brew for one day only, but if you missed grabbing the drink then, we have some good news for you!
