We’re back again with another roundup of What’s New in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
We’re excited to tell you about all the new stuff we spotted on our most recent trek! Let’s get started!
The Animal Kingdom was an exciting place to be this week! We saw Kevin from Up for the first time, menu and construction updates, and new merchandise for fans of The Lion King, Up, and Mary Poppins!
We’ll start our Animal Kingdom Adventures off on Discovery Island.
We went to the Animal Kingdom looking for animals, and instead found aliens and yetis! But, don’t worry, they are super cute!
This little alien is at The Feeding Ground on a straw clip just waiting for you to choose him! Check out these newest straw clips here! They are also found at Pizza Planet in Disneyland!
Our next adventure in the parks took us to Animal Kingdom on the search for new food, new merchandise and any updates for you!
We were excited to see and say “welcome back” to a cupcake friend featuring Lion King‘s Simba as our day in the park started at Creature Comforts.
The Animal Kingdom is always a fun park to visit, and this week’s visit kept us busy with lots of new items including #Mickey90 ears, some fun Christmas gifts, new food, and construction updates.
We love how relaxed this scene makes us feel — before we dash around the park! Here’s everything we found this week.
We’ve shown you Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios (along with Toy Story Land) all dressed up for the season, now it’s time to highlight the Animal Kingdom. Their Christmas decorations are always fun to see as they incorporate themes from the park attractions and regions represented in the park. Plus, while we were taking in all the decorations we found some new menu updates as well as some must-have merchandise!
Whether this is your first or 10th visit to Animal Kingdom during Christmas be sure to take some time to look at the ornaments on the tree at the entrance to the park. They are both representative of the park, and also feature some favorite Disney characters!
Our day in Animal Kingdom was jam-packed with new food, menu changes, construction, and more. But, our favorite part of the day was stopping at the Donald’s Dino-Bash Dance Party and hearing the DJ play Monster Mash and other Halloween songs mixed in with regular pop songs!
Be sure to stop by Donald’s Dino-Bash and do the Monster Mash!
Now, let’s get over to the…
Even though Pandora has been open for over a year, Animal Kingdom is still a park undergoing some changes and construction. We spotted quite a few construction walls up around the park this week.
On top of the construction there was the announcement that Rafiki’s Planet Watch is closing October 20 for refurbishment until Spring of 2019.
