In our humble opinion, Mickey shaped treats are some of the most iconic items in Disney World. There are Mickey Bars, Mickey Apples, Mickey Waffles… . And, there’s even the massive Mickey Celebration Donuts we tried back in May. While they were only available at The Lunching Pad until the end of June, the donuts have nestled themselves into a new home in Magic Kingdom!
It’s time to visit Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom to see What’s New! We spotted Tron Coaster tracks, noticed a couple of menu changes, and found the most 90s wallet you’ve ever seen. Come along!

There has never been a shortage of chocolate twist pastries around Disney World and Disneyland parks. But we just got word that they unveiled an updated version at Animal Kingdom this week — right on the heels of the brand new chocolate donut holes that made their debut recently!

It’s no secret we love our pretzels here at Disney Food Blog. Is it the bready dough, the salt, or the plastic cheese we love most? We’ll never tell (yes we will. plastic cheese.).
But, our latest trip to Disney World’s Magic Kingdom had us in pretzel overdrive with not one, not two, not three, but four (yes four!) pretzel updates! We’ll start with the cutest update which is this new set of couples t-shirts.
For the Sweet and Salty Couple
There’s always a sweet one and a salty one in any relationship right? Which shirt will you be wearing on your next visit to the parks?
One of our favorite times to visit the Magic Kingdom is in November and December when the park is dressed up for the holidays. While we were there this week we found new merchandise, checked out construction progress, spotted some of Mickey’s birthday treats and merchandise still hanging around, plus found a new exit to a popular ride!
A Happy Holiday Hello from the Magic Kingdom!
Let’s start this week’s update out on Main Street U.S.A. where we found new dresses, purses, yummy treats, and a Minnie sink as well as sweet ways to continue celebrating Mickey’s 90th!
The Cheshire Cafe in the Magic Kingdom is home to one of our favorite treats – the Cheshire Cat Tail.

And now it’s also home to a new Treat with Character, the Wonderland Slush!

This new frozen drink debuted today at the Magic Kingdom and we had to stop by to check it out!
Remember the Peter Pan Float that came flying into Storybook Treats in Magic Kingdom this summer? Well, looks like Peter has started a trend, because even more snacks based on beloved characters are coming to Magic Kingdom soon! Storybook Treats will soon be home to a Tinkerbell treat!

Starting November 1st, Tink’s Pixie-Dusted Cone will feature the same key lime soft serve as in the Peter Pan Float. It will be topped with white chocolate wings, and garnished with green cotton candy… oh, and Pixie Dust, too, of course!
Then, on November 7th, The Lunching Pad will serve up a new Space Ranger Slush! This Buzz-worthy slush will be layered with purple grape and green apple slush, complete with a green rock candy straw. [Read more…]
