We recently got this year’s spring and summer seasonal dining dates at Hollywood & Vine, and there’s tons of merchandise we’ve spotted lately too. But a week in Disney World means a LOT can change, so let’s see what’s new in at Hollywood Studios!
Yesterday was a busy day in Magic Kingdom — it was the last day to ride Splash Mountain before it closed for retheming as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

The closure is planned to last almost two years. But Disney is wasting no time! While Tiana’s Bayou Adventure isn’t scheduled to open until at least late 2024, that hasn’t stopped Disney from preparing for construction already.
Have you been to EPCOT lately? The park has been going through a period of transformation for a few years now, and it’s far from over!

Construction means new things to see and do which may sound like a good thing, but it can make spending time in the park trickier! While we don’t have an exact opening date yet, later this year, a new area in EPCOT will be opening and make the park super busy.
It’s time to take a trip back to Magic Kingdom!

Over the past decade or so, we’ve seen Disney take on a LOT of projects in the domestic theme parks.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
With everything from the addition of Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge to the complete overhaul of EPCOT, there has been a ton of construction happening in Disney World. But Disneyland Resort hasn’t been without its projects either (like Avengers Campus!) and right now, one Disneyland project is proving that Disney can get stuff done quickly…when they want to.
From time to time, Disney rides and amenities must close to undergo maintenance.
Kali River Rapids Closed for Refurbishment
Right now, several attractions and experiences are closed in Disney World and some will be for the early part of 2023. Away from Disney World, we’ve heard of two more Disney closures at Disney’s Aulani Resort!

TRON construction — Early January 2023
The ride is set to open on April 4th, 2023 and we’ve been not-so-patiently waiting and watching it be constructed for the past FIVE years. But now, we’re just a few months away and that means there are some big construction updates happening. Today we spotted something new near the ride!
It might seem like there is ALWAYS something under construction in Disney World, and that’s often the case!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
EPCOT is still undergoing its massive transformation (with a new attraction on the way), a new roller coaster will be opening soon in Magic Kingdom, and Disney World hotels are getting loads of updates. Speaking of which, we’re going to go check up on construction at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, so let’s see what’s going on there, shall we?
