Disney just dropped a major castle-related update, and we’re FREAKING OUT. If you were a fan of the old castle, look at the Magic Kingdom; you’re going to want to book a visit soon.
We’re at Destination D23, and there are SO many new details coming out about big Disney projects.

The Disney Destiny will set sail later this year (November 20th, to be exact!) and the ship will feature a Heroes and Villains theme never seen before. We knew about some of the Villains we’d see on the ship, but now Disney has just confirmed some more details about what exactly we’ll be able to experience with them on board!
As part of their Gold Member-exclusive Destination D23 event, Disney just revealed some blockbuster news about their upcoming slate of films!
Destination D23
Touching on every corner of the studio’s output — from Walt Disney Animation, Pixar, and Fox properties to gargantuan franchises like Star Wars and the Marvel Cinematic Universe — the presentation gave its latest look at what to expect to see in theaters and beyond throughout the rest of 2025 and 2026.
I know, I know. We’re right in the middle of this year’s D23, so why are we already thinking about next year?
Destination D23 2025
This massive expo is the Ultimate Disney Fan Experience, where Disney announces tons of details about movies, the parks, cruises, and every element of the Walt Disney Company. They also announced the new dates for next year, so if you’re feeling a little FOMO, you can start planning now.
Destination D23 is almost here! The event is happening from August 29th to August 31st and will feature a sneak peek at upcoming products and experiences at The Walt Disney Company, exclusive shopping opportunities, and fun surprises throughout the event.

Yes, you can follow along with our reporting all day since we’ll be at the event checking out all the offerings, but select panels will also be available via livestream, which D23 Gold Members can watch from home!
Okay, so a lot is happening in Disney World this fall, and we couldn’t be more excited. The first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party starts on August 15th. The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival starts on August 28th. And Destination D23 starts on August 29th and runs through August 31st.

Now, we are particularly interested in Destination D23, which will happen at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, because this is an event where Disney generally makes a lot of BIG announcements. Destination D23 just dropped its full schedule, so let’s get into it (and get into what’s MISSING from that schedule).
