Disney’s Animal Kingdom welcomes baby animals to their ever-growing wild animal family all the time, and these new adorable bundles of cuteness are going to make you say “AWWWWWW“!
It’s heartbreaking when our favorite snacks leave Disney World, but we should know by now that legends never truly die.
Several years ago, AJ fell in LOVE with her birthday snack: a pile of piping hot fries at Flame Tree Barbecue in Disney’s Animal Kingdom — loaded with pulled pork, plastic cheese, and barbecue sauce. It was love at first bite and quickly became a favorite not only for AJ but for the team members here at DFB as well. (They’re delicious, y’all. We can all attest.) Our hearts were SHATTERED when these deliciously saucy and cheesy fries left the menu. If you’re like us and mourned the loss of this snack for years, it’s time to dry up those tears, pal. They’re back.
If you ask us, it’s always a good day when Disney announces that some NEW eats will be joining the lineup.
What’s even BETTER is when Disney announces that these new eats are arriving to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which is one of our FAVORITE parks when it comes to food. If you’re hoping to join us in grubbing on some new treats, take a scroll through this post to check out all the new things to come.
Disney World is seemingly ever-changing, and with that comes saying goodbye to fan-favorite attractions and dining experiences.
At the 2023 Destination D23 event, Disney shared a few new things that would be coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. For new things to come to Animal Kingdom, it’s likely that we’ll have to say goodbye to some old favorites.
Listen, Disney’s Animal Kingdom has announced some big changes recently!

Animal Kingdom
Disney recently announced that extended park hours will be coming for select hotel guests for a limited time, and at Destination D23 we learned a TON about the upcoming changes to lands and attractions around the entire park. Amid all this bigger news though, Disney’s Animal Kingdom just dropped a new margarita we just had to try out! [Read more…]
While visiting Disney World, it can seem nearly impossible to experience all the rides and attractions within a week-long visit or less.
Lines for several fan-favorite attractions can quite literally be HOURS long, and Disney’s skip-the-line service, Genie+, doesn’t always fit everybody’s budget. We typically recommend rope dropping each of the Disney World parks to hit those super popular attractions early in the day. Rope dropping is when you show up to the parks as soon as they’re open in order to be among the first people on a ride or attraction. This “hack” allows you a shorter wait in most cases, so that you aren’t spending your whole day waiting in line. While we totally recommend this trick for people visiting three of the Disney World parks, there’s one park that makes us feel a little hesitant when recommending the rope drop strategy.
Your cuteness meter may go overboard with this announcement, but we’re bringing it to you anyways!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Disney’s Animal Kingdom has welcomed a few baby animals to the cast of wild crew lately with the additions of a baby yellow-backed duiker and a new zebra. Now, you’ll have a chance to see the newest addition but you’ll have to keep a keen eye out because she’s very tiny. [Read more…]
We’re always on the search for something delicious to eat.
What’s even better is when we find something that’s not only delicious, but it’s also safe to eat for those of you who are vegan, vegetarian, or simply don’t want to eat meat while in the parks. Today’s search for some delicious vegan food brings us to Africa in Disney’s Animal Kingdom — to Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery. Kusafiri serves up coffee, breakfast pastries, and the occasional breakfast sandwich in the mornings, and for the rest of the day, you can find heartier options like flatbreads and fried pastries. We’ve tried both the breakfast options and the flatbreads and pastries in the past, and they didn’t disappoint. Now, we’re headed back to this quick-service eatery to see if the available vegan options are just as good. Let’s go!
