And what better place to look than Disney+?! Ever since the merger with Hulu, we’ve had a ton of content at our fingertips — and we still can’t get enough! Lucky for us, Disney just announced the lineup of everything new coming to Disney+ this August, so let’s get into it.

This year will mark the 40th anniversary of Disney Television Animation! For four decades, Disney Branded Television has produced a BUNCH of original series and movies.

To celebrate this monumental occasion, Disney shared details about series renewals and new series, as well as some first looks into their upcoming Disney Junior, Disney Channel, and Disney+ projects!
In the past six years, Hollywood Studios at Disney World has gotten a lot of love and new attractions!
Tower of Terror
Between Toy Story Land, Galaxy’s Edge, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Disney has put a lot of new attractions into the park. We are also excited about “Voyage of the Little Mermaid” being reimagined into “The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure.” While we are grateful for all of these new additions, there is one attraction that we want Disney to add to Hollywood Studios!
It’s almost impossible to keep up with all the new Disney movies and TV shows. There’s just so MUCH always going on with the company, whether it be with Disney Animation, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, or more!
Hollywood Studios
This year is proving to be a BIG year for Disney releases. We’re getting a NEW Star Wars series on Disney+, along with a sequel to Moana . However, did you know a NEW The Little Mermaid series is in the works? It’s Disney Junior’s Ariel, and it’s all about Ariel when she was just a kid — and Disney just dropped the first trailer!
Families with young kids, you’re gonna want to hear about this event coming to Disneyland soon.
Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure
Disneyland Resort has a lot going on. Those of us on the east coast are a little jealous. Did you see all of the Haunted Mansion food Disneyland got in honor of the new film? There is also some new nighttime entertainment coming soon as a temporary replacement for Fantasmic! Plus, we tried the new eats coming to the new Big Hero 6 land. Now, Disney just announced a 3-day event coming to the Disneyland Resort in August.

Donald and Daisy in Hollywood Studios
In Disney World, you might spot some pretty neat characters. Donald and Daisy have been spotted in Hollywood Studios having a picnic. For Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s 25th Anniversary, we saw rare characters like Terk and Jane from Tarzan. Also at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Moana has her own meet-and-greet location now. But soon, a bunch of Disney characters are going to be coming to a city near YOU, so you won’t even have to be in the parks to see them!
Disney found itself in the middle of some serious Twitter drama recently.
Disney Junior Dance Party
You may be well aware of the battles that have been going on with the Twitter platform when it comes to Twitter Blue and that signature blue checkmark. But another change hit Twitter previously regarding “official” business accounts through “Twitter Verified Organizations.” Instead of an “official” label, businesses now get a gold checkmark. Recently, one account that appeared to be related to Disney Junior got a gold checkmark and some drama ensued.
