We’ve seen some pretty weird things at Disney World, but what we’re about to discuss may top the list as one of the grossest. No, we’re not talking about the squid drink, the bear in Magic Kingdom, or even the SCARY Nanny Chairs at Disney’s BoardWalk hotel. We’re talking feet.
Squid’s Revenge…yeah this was a weird one.
Not everything that goes on at Disney World is pretty and perfect, and from time to time, we’ve seen some pretty gross and downright bizarre happenings. We recently posed a question to you, our readers, about some habits we’ve seen in Disney World and just how far they ranked on your personal grossness scale. Let’s see what our readers had to say!
Can you hear this photo? Technology hasn’t quite caught up to letting us transfer SMELLS through the screen, but if you go to Disney World enough, your imagination can probably fill in the gaps. There’s something pretty darn satisfying about tapping a phone, MagicBand, smartwatch, or card against that glowing Mickey head. It feels even better when it gets you FAST access to the front of the line, too!
Scanning into a Lightning Lane (Disney World)
But, we must admit, there’s one part of this that doesn’t feel quite so good, and that’s the part where we have to PAY to skip all those lines. Yep, using the Lightning Lanes with Genie+ is NOT free, and those prices can add up quickly if you have a large group. And now that we’re in the middle of spring break, it seems like Disney is making the most of that “surge pricing” system.
Sometimes you can plan the perfect day at Disney World and use all the tricks, tips, and tools like Genie+ to help you do and see it “all” and there are just some things preventing you from making it through everything that is out of your control.

H2O Glow Nights | 2018
After Hours events are the perfect example — where else can you find FREE food and drinks, music, characters, and shorter wait times? Disney had previously announced that After Hours would be returning to Typhoon Lagoon water park in the form of H2O Glow Nights, and tickets are on sale now!
Get a good look at these cabins. It may be one of the LAST times you see this log cabin-style building in Disney World! That’s right — it’s the end of an era. The old Cabins at Fort Wilderness are CHANGING, and Disney fans seem to have a LOT of opinions about the new design.
