Everything’s coming up PURPLE!
We’ve been spotting purple cupcakes and gelato shakes in the latest Disney Minnie Mouse Ears hue of Potion Purple (also called Purple Potion), and we had a feeling there were more on the way… and starting today in Walt Disney World — unless otherwise noted — and January 11th in Disneyland, that is indeed the case! (And note that Potion Purple Spirit Jerseys will be hitting the scene on January 11th as well.)

wants to celebrate breakfast all day — in cupcake form! — and we are totally here for it! Sprinkles locations in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World and in Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort (as well as locations everywhere else!) will serve up Cereal Cupcakes every week through early February!
These might look a little familiar because Sprinkles crafted these tasty, crunch cupcakes last January, too! Three of this year’s cupcakes — Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Fruity Pebbles, and Lucky Charms — are returning!
Disneyland guests and annual passholders
were treated to a not-so-pleasant surprise this morning. Whether showing up at the park to buy a one day ticket or annual pass, everyone was greeted with a major price increase — including on the MaxPass service and daily parking as well.
That’s right, if you’re planning a trip to Disneyland you’ll need to save more than a few more pennies to purchase your park tickets or annual passes with this price increase. Some prices went up as much as 25% overnight.
Along with new details regarding what guests will see and experience when Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens in Disneyland this summer and Disney’s Hollywood Studios this fall, we also have more information regarding the possible timeline for the opening of Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland.
In an interview with Barron’s with Disney CEO Bob Iger, Iger is quoted as saying: “When Star Wars opens in Anaheim in June and in Florida later in the year, that’s adding capacity. A sneak peek of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has been provided by Barron’s who spent some time touring the construction site for the upcoming land in Disneyland accompanied by executives from construction, operations, and Disney Imagineering. And they have shared some details from their visit!
To begin, Barron’s shared that guests will enter Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland through one of three entrance points near Fantasyland, Frontierland, and Critter Country. “Short, enclosed passageways between lands are designed to compress and then expand the view of visitors, like a movie fading out and then back in, to ensure that the first sight of Galaxy’s Edge is a carefully framed, cinematic view.” [Read more…]

One of the things we’re looking forward to in 2019 is the opening of Ballast Point in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District. And we’re one step closer to the opening now that signs for Ballast Point are up!
