We recently stopped by Olivia’s Cafe in Disney’s Old Key West Resort to check out their brunch, since that is now an EVERYDAY offering. And while we were there we spotted a BIG menu change.

There are a number of spots that serve up brunch in Disney World. From the delicious offerings at Homecomin’ in Disney Springs to a Mimosa Flight at Whispering Canyon Cafe, there are plenty of things to try if brunch is your favorite meal of the day. But now we’ve got some EXCITING Disney brunch news!
If you’re anything like us, when you need a frozen treat in Disney World, you fast-walk (safety first, treats second) to your nearest Dole Whip location.

Fortunately, that isn’t a difficult task, as Disney World has tons of places that offer Dole Whip creations — Aloha Isle, Storybook Treats, Sunshine Tree Terrace, Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies, Refreshment Outpost, Tamu Tamu, Swirls on the Water…the list goes on and on. And, in celebration of Dole Whip Day (July 21st), Disney World is offering even more creative Dole Whip treats all around the resort. So today, we tried one at Disney’s Old Key West Resort…but it’s only for adults!

Okay, okay, we’re kidding, but really — we hear about Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort all the time, and even the All-Star Resorts are pretty popular. But what about Disney’s Old Key West Resort? It’s high time we pay a visit to this quiet little DVC resort and show you what it’s about!

If you’re unfamiliar with this hotel, Old Key West was the original Disney Vacation Club Resort. It was designed to feel less like a hotel and more like, well, home! Not only that, but a SUPER underrated restaurant know as Olivia’s Cafe is tucked away at this resort — try the Southernmost Buttermilk Chicken and thank us later. 😉 Now that you’ve got a little background, come with us as we tour a room at Disney’s Old Key West Resort.

Old Key West Resort
We’ve tried all the new eats at the Flower & Garden Festival in EPCOT, snacked on “space” food aboard the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, and even tried new treats in the theme parks for St. Patrick’s Day and the spring season. But now, we’re heading over to Old Key West Resort, where a classic snack got a big change!
