March was a BIG month of news for Disney World and lots of news can sometimes make for surprises!
From dining changes to health measure updates and more, let’s take a look at the four most unexpected things that happened in Disney World in March!
You can have all kinds of different experiences at Disney World restaurants, from character sightings to your food being lit on fire (yeah, really!).
There are even some restaurants where the servers are a bit sassy, like 50s Prime Time Cafe and Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen. Another spot where you could find this was Whispering Canyon Cafe in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, but we haven’t seen all of the fun shenanigans from servers since before the pandemic began — UNTIL NOW!
When planning your next Disney World vacation, one of the first decisions you’ll likely make is where your family will spend each night! Picking the right hotel can be a daunting task since there are so many options, so the first factor you’ll probably consider is what you can afford when choosing to stay on Disney World property. Disney breaks its hotels up into three major categories based on price: Value, Moderate, and Deluxe.
Today, we’re going to weigh the pros and cons for staying at Disney World’s Deluxe Resort hotels. You can see our pros and cons for Value resorts here and for Moderate resorts here! Deluxe hotels offer top-tier amenities for top-tier prices. They also offer perks such as awesome pools, top-rated dining, and easy access to the parks. But is it worth the cost?
It’s no secret that Disney World is constantly changing and adapting to the times!
Over the last 50 years, we’ve seen updated rides, changed restaurants, the addition of new hotels, and even new theme parks get built. As technology and culture evolve, Disney World does its best to keep up, and so we get theme parks that are VERY different from what they were a few decades ago. But what about those guests who haven’t been in a few decades — what do you need to know about the changes? Well, today we’re breaking it down for you!
There are loads of reasons to stay at a Disney World Hotel.Â
There are tons of quick and easy ways to get to the parks, you can qualify for additional time in the parks with Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours, and some of the resorts have some amazing food. There are also tons of Annual Passholder perks like discounts! We’re always looking out for the latest Disney deals, and this one is for resort guests and Passholders alike!
The weather is warming up in Florida, and it’s finally nice enough to hit the pool! After a few busy days in Disney World, it can be nice to relax at your resort and lounge by the water. Unfortunately, though, February and March are typically the months when Disney resorts, pools, and attractions undergo a little temporary refurbishment.
If you’re staying at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge soon, you might want to hear this update!

There’s ONE thing in Disney World that seems to change more than anything else. Do you know what it is?
That’s right, cupcake flavors! It seems like when we stop by a Disney World restaurant that sells cupcakes, there are often new flavors with new sugar decorations, a pile of icing on top, and most likely, some kind of unique filling in the middle. But hey, we’re not complaining — it just means more yummy desserts for us to try! And when we stopped by Disney’s Wilderness Lodge today, we were greeted with yet another treat to add to our LONG list of reviews.

This week we’ve learned about mysterious patents, big ride queue changes, and there was even a power outage! Let’s get right into all the unexpected Disney World news this week.
Disney World is a huge operation, and sometimes things don’t go 100% to plan.
