Because we love Disney decor, treats, and experiences ANYWHERE, we took a cruise around Disney World’s monorail loop to stop by the Contemporary Resort, the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and the Polynesian Village Resort to see what’s new!
As you may know, EPCOT is set to receive an all-new fireworks show celebrating the power of music — Harmonious.

The show was supposed to initially debut in the spring of 2020 but has seen a delay due to the historic park closures. We haven’t heard a new reopening date, but we’ve been keeping a close eye on EPCOT fireworks’ progress. Now, we have a pretty BIG sign that could be a step in the direction of the return of fireworks in EPCOT and the rest of Disney World.
Shanghai Disneyland reopened to guests on May 11, 2020. Of course, as has been the case with other Disney Parks around the globe — including Walt Disney World Resort — experiences around the park have been modified or suspended during the initial reopening phase in light of new health and safety measures.

There was a lot of news happening in the Disney universe yesterday thanks largely in part to an earnings call detailing the company’s profitability during its second quarter.

And while many Disney big wigs including former CEO Bob Iger, current CEO Bob Chapek, and CFO Christine McCarthy spoke on the current financial status of the Walt Disney Company, you might be wondering how any of this information pertains to Disney’s theme parks.
While Shanghai Disneyland Park has been temporarily shut down since late January, we’re starting to see some sparks of life returning to the far-away park across the sea! On March 9th, Shanghai Disneyland partially reopened to guests and began offering limited shopping, dining, and recreational experiences at Disneytown, Wishing Star Park, and Shanghai Disneyland Hotel.

While the park itself remains closed for the time being, last week Shanghai Disneyland began conducting simulations to try out their new health and safety measures(you can read more about some of the safety measures here). Now it looks like the park is testing out its nighttime fireworks spectacular, Ignite the Dream!
