This past month has been one to remember when it comes to Disney World dining! From new restaurants opening to new menu items STILL showing up at the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, it feels like this has been one of the most jam-packed foodie months of 2021!

Gideon’s Bakehouse, located in The Landing of Disney Springs, is known to Orlando locals and tourists alike for their nearly half pound cookies, cakes, and more, and today they posted on Instagram about an extremely limited treat they have for TODAY ONLY! So if you’re in the neighborhood and in the mood for some chocolate, you’ll want to see this.

How late is Trader Sam’s open?
That means you’re subject to Disney World’s schedule, meaning that you probably aren’t going to make any 2AM snack runs to 7-Eleven like you might do at home when you can’t sleep and you want some food. But there are SOME late-night dining options available at Disney World, maybe even more than you think.

We’re just a little big obsessed with these half-pound (!!) cookies, so it’s no surprise that we can’t wait to try the new flavors they revealed for September. When Gideon’s introduces a new treat, they often have a quirky story to go with it, and this time is no exception.

If there are two things we love a LOT, it’s cookies and ice cream.
Hot Cookie Hour
And well, we won’t complain if the two get combined — we’ve love our yummy ice cream sandwiches from Plaza Ice Cream Parlor at Magic Kingdom, as well as the Hot Fudge Cookie Sundae at Storybook Treats and the Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich from Dino-Bite Snacks at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. So, of course, we’re big fans of the Hot Cookie Hour at Gideon’s Bakehouse, which features a Gideon’s cookie fresh out of the oven with a scoop of locally-made malt vanilla ice cream. Can you say “yum?” But there’s a big problem with the Hot Cookie Hour — it’s ONLY ONE HOUR. NOT ANYMORE!
