We’ve learned a ton of details about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World this year, and tickets are already starting to sell out. This special event puts visitors in the middle of a Halloween party in Magic Kingdom, complete with its own fireworks, parade, characters, and snacks! And, we finally know just when during the party we’ll be able to check it all out.

With so much going on in Disneyland, there’s a lot to look forward to! We now have a date on when we can expect the Haunted Mansion holiday overlay to return to the Haunted Mansion ride later this year, and we’re anxiously counting down the opening day to San Fransokyo Square’s opening. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be returning to Disney World, as well as Disneyland’s Oogie Boogie Bash. We’ve already started getting peeks at new Disney Halloween-themed merchandise coming soon too, but if you want to buy some decorations RIGHT NOW, you’ve gotta check these out!

And we’re not the only ones, either. We’ve already celebrated being Halfway to Halloween in Disney World with some treats and merch, and you know Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be here before we know it. Home Depot is also getting in on the spooky spirit with new decorations!
We KNOW it’s still July, but that doesn’t mean that we have to wait to get prepped for spooky season!
Halloween in Disneyland Resort
Disney kicks off Halloween celebrations in Magic Kingdom in August (which is NEXT MONTH!) and Disneyland Resort starts celebrating in September. One of the big ways that the west coast celebrates is with the very popular Oogie Boogie Bash event — and we’ve got some important news about that party.
It is a BIG day for Disney fans hoping to grab tickets to a Halloween Party.
Oogie Boogie at the Oogie Boogie Bash!
Oogie Boogie Bash is a very popular Halloween party that takes place at Disneyland Resort. Tickets for the event initially went on sale to the general public at the end of June (after Magic Key Holder tickets sold out in the pre-sale), and it’s safe to say that things did NOT go well. Sales were paused, and it was announced last week that ticket sales would resume today. However, if you are wanting tickets, you better act FAST!
We’re hereby declaring this to be the beginning of SPOOKY SEASON.
Halloween starts NOW
Yes, that’s right, it’s Halloween season as far as we’re concerned, although it doesn’t OFFICIALLY start for Disney until a little bit later with the return of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World.
