Orlando World Center Marriott is the largest Marriott hotel in the world, with over 2,000 guest rooms and suites. It boasts a water park (with seven water slides and a lazy river), another pool area, a spa, eight restaurants, an 18-hole golf course, and more. But this holiday season, there will be even more to explore here!

If you’re an Annual Passholder or someone else without a date-based ticket that requires a park pass to get into the parks on most days (other than Good To Go dates for APs), we recommend making those park passes well in advance. That’s for a number of reasons, but mostly because those spots can fill up FAST! Now, we have proof of that, because while it may only be October, park passes are already beginning to sell out for Christmas Day.

Now, Halloween means that we get to see some of the BEST merchandise of the year drop on The Disney Store, including fun decor items, clothing, and SO much more. Well, you know Halloween also means LOTS of Nightmare Before Christmas souvenirs, right? Well, a new Nightmare Before Christmas Starbucks Tumbler is coming soon to The Disney Store!

We’ve already bought so much Disney Halloween merchandise that our wallets are VERY mad at us, but now we’re already gearing up to prepare to fill our house with some of the amazing new holiday merchandise Disney JUST released online. Disney World has had a BUSY year in 2025. The Rivers of America and Muppet*Vision 3D have closed to make way for construction on Piston Peak and Monsters, Inc., while GEO-82 and The Beak and Barrel have opened.

The holiday season has arrived in Disney World. The Disney World parks and hotels are decorated. Over at EPCOT, the International Festival of the Holidays kicks off the day after Thanksgiving and runs through the end of the year, and it’s a big draw. That’s why Disney is updating EPCOT’s park hours.

I know, it’s wild to consider that we are already talking about holiday items, but it is just around the corner! Only about one more month until the Disney World parks are decked out in holiday decor. Now is the time to grab these new holiday items before they’re gone. Some are even still only on preorder, but they are already popular!
We know, we know, we haven’t even got past Halloween yet, but we can’t help that Disney is already thinking about the holiday season! Of course, we can’t wait to celebrate the season at Disneyland Resort with the holiday parade, fireworks show, special treats, and festive decor. We also can’t wait to see “it’s a small world” adorned with thousands of shimmering lights and whimsical decor.

However, in order to get this iconic attraction ready for the holiday overlay, Disney will need to close it down for a bit. The attraction will be closed starting October 30th, 2025, at Disneyland Park, but it will reopen in time for Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, which kick off on November 14th, 2025.
Oh, hi, we’re just here enjoying Halloween and the whole fall season in Disney World, while also looking ahead to the holidays. So yes, happy Hallowthanksmas. But, hey, it’s time to start planning those holiday trips anyway, right? There’s so much to look forward to, including Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights. Oh, and the FOOD…we’re always here for the holiday treats.
