Does anything surprise you in Disney World anymore?
This week we saw ticket price increases, an updated mask mandate, and even the very short return of an epic popcorn bucket. Check out all the unexpected news from Disney World right here!
In case you haven’t heard our explosive cheers of excitement these past few months, shows and entertainment have been making a BIG comeback in Disney World!
Fireworks, parades, festivals, and performances have been roaring back to life in the Most Magical Place on Earth, and we’re here to round it ALL up for you!
There is nothing like meeting your favorite characters at Disney World!

Red Carpet Dreams at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Whether you’re meeting your favorite princess or maybe a rare character like Goofy’s son Max, there’s something special about saying hi to a familiar character’s face. And now, we can finally meet an iconic character again at Red Carpet Dreams in Disney’s Hollywood Studios — let’s see what it’s like!
Weighted plushes are a great way to help kids battle anxiety and get a good night’s sleep — they’re like weighted blankets, but way more fun.
Disney began releasing their own version of weighted plushes last year and have been adding even more characters to the collection — we’ve even seen some of them pop up at Target! But recently, we spotted three NEW weighted plushes online!
Ready to blow some cash on Disney merchandise? Yeah, US TOO!
Amazon is home to countless Disney items, and one of our favorite things to do each week is to round up all the best Disney-themed deals. So today, we invite you to sit back and relax as DFB proudly presents…the demise of your bank account!
Remember how Disney Stores used to have a mountain of stuffed animals piled up in the back?! Those were the good ol’ days.
Even though there’s no longer a mountain of plushes, there are still a ton of plushes available from Disney! In the parks, we find all sorts of characters from Minnie and Mickey to Stitch to Pua from Moana. Disney has also started making weighted plushes that have the same general idea as weighted blankets — to help comfort people. We’ve only been able to get these weighted plushes on Disney property or on shopDisney, but now they’re available at a popular store you can find all over the country!
Visiting Disney World soon? Want to meet some of your favorite characters?
Meet-and-greets aren’t quite back to “normal” yet in the Most Magical Place on Earth but you can still say “hello” and snap a selfie with some princesses, the main mouse, and more. Meeting these characters, however, will require you to wait in a standby line. Want to skip the wait and get quicker and easier access to your favorite Disney pals? We’ve got a little tip!
Some may consider January to be a slower season in Disney World, but if this week’s crowds are any indication, things are as active as ever around the parks and resorts!
How else do we know Disney World is full of new offerings? We have a full lineup of updates to share from Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Let’s dive in and see what’s new since our last visit.
Last fall, Disney Genie and Genie+ launched in Disney World, providing guests with more ways to plan their days in the parks. While Disney Genie is a complimentary service located within My Disney Experience, Genie+ is the new paid version of what used to be FastPass+, costing $15 per guest, per day.
When it first launched, purchasing Genie+ included the ability to book a return time to most rides and attractions. But starting this week, additional guest experiences will be available for booking.
Disney has given us some amazing love stories over the years!
Aladdin and Jasmine, Simba and Nala, Wall-E and Eve and…*sniff* Carl and Ellie. (It’s hard for us to talk about that last one, we hope you understand.) And perhaps their most iconic couple of all time is Mickey and Minnie Mouse. They’ve been together since the JUMP, and we only hope to be able to find love like that. For now, we’ll just keep looking at Dole Whips and Cinnamon Rolls the way Mickey looks at Minnie. But if you want to celebrate these Disney lovers, check out these limited edition dolls! [Read more…]
