When you go to Disney World for a vacation, it’s natural to want everything to go smoothly.
But unfortunately, sometimes things happen! Since so many aspects of your Disney World trip are now online or part of the My Disney Experience app, there are bound to be glitches and issues. We’re taking you through nine glitches that could impact your next Disney World vacation!
Oh, boy oh, boy! We’ve got a great find today.
A few days ago, we got EXCITED because we found a monorail clothing collection in the parks! In case ya didn’t know, we’re pretty big fans of this classic form of transportation here at DFB. But if you live far from Disney World and still wanna rep your love for it, the collection has officially arrived online at shopDisney! Let’s take a look.
We’re BIG fans of the monorail here at DFB.
And we love seeing it get the recognition it deserves! We recently spotted some Cast Members over at Disney’s Contemporary Resort with monorail-themed costumes. It made us wonder: how could WE show our love for this classic Disney transportation?! And then there it was, in Disney Springs. A brand-new monorail collection!
We just spent a lovely day traveling around Disney World’s Magic Kingdom resorts!
And we’ve got a ton of updates, so grab a cup of coffee or tea, curl up in your favorite chair, and let’s get started!
Walt Disney’s story and the history of his theme parks add to the magic that we experience when we visit.
Walt Disney himself once said, “Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world.” This sentiment has been applied to the parks across the world — Disney is always growing and changing. We’ve come a long way to get to the Disney we know and love, but can you imagine if there was a Disney World with no Mickey Mouse? Or you took your yearly Disney trip to Missouri instead of Florida? Disney would’ve been VERY different if these things happened.
A MAJOR Disney transportation option is currently unavailable.
While at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort Monorail Station today to head on over to Magic Kingdom, we were evacuated from the platform as BOTH monorail lines went down. Here’s what we know.
Disney World reopened to the public following its temporary closures on July 11th, 2020. A lot has changed since then, and that has meant learning how to adjust to many of the new protocol and health guidelines implemented over the past several months.
While we’ve grown accustomed to many of the changes and can go about our day as if these changes are second nature to us, OTHER changes still have us riding the struggle bus. Let’s take a look at the changes that we’re still having a hard time adjusting to, even months after they’ve been implemented in the parks!
Over the past few months, quite a few changes have been made when it comes to Disney World transportation — including the monorails.
Capacity in the monorails is now limited, there are vinyl barriers between some of the sections, and distancing barriers have been added to the rows on some of the monorails to help increase capacity. For a while, Monorail Red has been out for refurbishment, but today it was BACK with a new look! Join us for a full look at that this monorail looks like now and what distancing measures it’s using.
Happy Super Bowl Sunday, everyone!
Although it was a little stormy last night, we had gorgeous blue skies at Disney World today! So come along with us for a beautiful day at Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT!
