It’s beignet time (all the time, but we digress)! You know we’re always on top of the seasonal, temporary flavors at Disneyland Resort’s Mint Julep Bar, and right now, it’s strawberry season!

But today, we’re bringing you to this beloved Table Service restaurant currently serving — among their already-famous dishes — a 3-course Prix Fixe menu created specifically for the Fest.

Review: NEW Mardi Gras Beignets at Mint Julep Bar in Disneyland
The Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square in Disneyland has a limited menu, and they do it so well. The Mint Juleps are refreshing (and underwent a makeover in 2017!), and the Beignets? Y’all. Yum.
Review: My Favorite Food in Disneyland
OK, for serious. I’m just going to say it. This is the BEST food in Disneyland. Believe me, Napa Rose is incredible, Steakhouse 55 slays, and Club 33 is amazing. I’ve been to all three many times. But if I only have one meal to eat in Disneyland, it’s going to be this one.
We all know that Disney restaurants can be maddeningly inconsistent, but this one? Always good. And these particular menu items are home-runs every single time. It’s a good day for a visit to Cafe Orleans in Disneyland, don’t you think?
Located in New Orleans Square, this casual Table Service restaurant serves consistently killer NOLA French Quarter-inspired fare with a little bonus panache.
New Orleans Square, for those who haven’t been, is so fun. It’s always Mardi Gras here, people! Big masks, oversized beads, and beautiful architectural details make this place a magnet for visitors to the Happiest Place on Earth.
And Cafe Orleans is right in the heart of things.
Atmosphere
Cafe Orleans is a pretty classy joint. Think stained glass and elegant decor (by theme park standards). It all starts outside. [Read more…]
Review: The NEW Mint Julep at Disneyland’s Mint Julep Bar
The Mint Julep Bar located in New Orleans Square is essentially a must-do for every Disneyland guest. You’ll find it tucked into the patio area of French Market Restaurant and right next to the New Orleans Square train station.

Disneyland is undergoing lots of changes and improvements these days. Y’all know that the Summer of Heroes is underway until September 1o, and we’ve had lots of chances to try the yummy heroes-themed eats. Oh, and Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: Breakout opened, so there’s that. 😀
Dining in Disneyland Review: Candy Cane Beignets at the Mint Julep Bar
Looking for a fun snack with some holiday cheer? Head on over to the Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square for some Candy Cane Beignets!
Beignets are always a good decision, and Candy Cane flavored ones are an excellent decision.
Review: Mickey Mouse Beignets at Disneyland’s Mint Julep Bar
Guess where WE’RE going today!!!! Yep — you and I are headed to Disneyland’s Mint Julep Bar in beautiful New Orleans Square! But we’re not having Mint Juleps…
Nope! We’re having BEIGNETS!!
Disneyland Resort offers beignets at Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Express, and I’m head over heels for the Mickey-shaped beignets that they serve as a dessert offering at Cafe Orleans.
But on a recent trip to Disneyland, I decided to finally try these classic eats as they come quick-serve!
Atmosphere
You’ll find the Mint Julep Bar tucked into one end of the courtyard that serves as seating space for the French Market, the neighboring counter service spout. It’s a handy stop if you’re just after a snack or drink, versus a full meal.
Since it shares seating with the French Market, you can also take advantage of that restaurant’s live musical entertainment if you time your visit just right. But let’s take a look at the eats first!
Eats
While it’s called the Mint Julep Bar for the iconic bright green non-alcoholic drink they serve, the Mickey-shaped Beignets take center stage [Read more…]
