You already know about Splash Mountain getting a The Princess and the Frog makeover, but that is not the ONLY thing happening with this transformation!
We’ve just learned about a reimagined RESTAURANT likely coming to Disneyland!
Disneyland has all kinds of tasty snacks, from Mickey ice cream bars to funnel cake fries, popcorn to toffee. But perhaps the most ICONIC of all Disneyland treats is a CHURRO. If you don’t eat a churro when you visit Disneyland…did you even really go?
Now, for the Halloween season, there’s a new churro in Disneyland — the Pistachio-Cherry Churro. That flavor combination sounds classic enough, but just wait until you hear about the dipping sauce that comes with it! All we can say is…we’re a little bit scared. 😬 [Read more…]
Much like Disney World, Disneyland is home to some unique (and ICONIC!) restaurants.
If you head to Disney California Adventure, you can eat both giant AND teeny tiny foods at Pym Test Kitchen. Or maybe you want to eat in a Cars-inspired diner at Flo’s V-8 Cafe. One of the most unique eateries in Disneyland, though, could be Blue Bayou Restaurant because it lets you eat INSIDE an actual ride! But, those in search of the world-famous Monte Cristo (at least according to us) haven’t been able to visit the restaurant, as it was closed for refurbishment — until now!Â
Disney’s Club 33 is kind of like The Office‘s Finer Things Club — it’s secret, mysterious, and membership is VERY limited.
There is a Club 33 located in several Disney Parks, although Disneyland Park is the site of the original VIP lounge designed for Walt Disney’s friends and VIP guests. Part of this exclusive club has been undergoing refurbishment, and we now have a reopening date!
If there’s one thing you’ll always find at the Disney theme parks (besides fun times, great rides, and delicious food), it’s crowds!
Thankfully there are plenty of secret pathways and ways to avoid crowd burnout. Today, we’re talking about 5 places that are ALWAYS stressful in Disney parks and where to go instead!
There are a lot of changes in the works at Disneyland right now!
For example, TONS of nighttime entertainment is coming back in the next month, THREE fan-favorite rides are closing for refurbishment, and Mickey’s Toontown is undergoing a full transformation. And, on top of it all, Disney has shared that they will be taking some time to fix a pinch point in Disneyland Park to help with crowding moving forward.
Disneyland is home to some iconic snacks, like DOLE Whip, that amazing Monte Cristo, and — of course — churros.
Another snack that you absolutely should NOT miss out on is Mickey beignets! These can be found in both Disneyland and Disney World, and we’re heading to the West Coast today to check out some NEW flavors. [Read more…]
Disneyland is the home of the iconic, the legendary, and the supreme Monte Cristo Sandwich. Disney World has tried (and somewhat failed) a few times to live up to its famed cheesy, greasy, and delicious reputation — though admittedly they came pretty darn close with Plaza Restaurant’s Monte Cristo for the 50th Anniversary Celebration.
There are a couple of places you’ll find the Monte Cristo Sandwich at Disneyland: most famously at Cafe Orleans in New Orleans Square, as well as its dimly lit next-door neighbor, Blue Bayou Restaurant.
Disney Merriest Nites at Disneyland Park is a new after-hours holiday event taking place on five different nights throughout November and December 2021.
We had the chance to visit the first night of this new holiday event and we experienced ALL the entertainment, including six unique holiday parties hosted by different Disney characters throughout Disneyland AND a Christmas parade!
Disneyland Resort is finally open after over 400 days of being closed, which means the return of some of our favorite eats!
One of those places is Cafe Orleans in Disneyland, known for its absolutely ICONIC Monte Cristo Sandwich and delicious Pommes Frites! The location has historical significance, as it’s been at Disneyland since New Orleans Square opened in the park in 1966! It was first called Creole Café and still hosts the original espresso machine that brewed up drinks for Walt Disney himself! Let’s see how this favorite spot is holding up!
