We’ve had many delicious snacks on Disney’s BoardWalk recently.
If you’re staying at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas, we hope you’ve been taking advantage of all the yummy treats nearby! After you’ve filled up on all your favorite snacks, what’s better than a nice nap by the pool? Well, if you’re headed for a stay at the BoardWalk in October, the pool area may look a bit different while you’re there.
We’ve definitely been enjoying the snacks and ice cream available at Disney’s Beach Club Resort recently.
But, there is one amenity that guests at Disney’s Beach Club Villas have not been able to enjoy since the reopening, and now we’ve got some news about when it will be available!
Select Disney World resorts have reopened today! We’ve already used online check-in to bypass the front desk and we’ve also explored the new Mobile Dine Check-In feature using the My Disney Experience app!
But now it’s time to go for a quick dip (it IS summer, after all!). That why we’re slathering on our sunblock, slipping on our flip flops, and are heading over to our resort’s pool to check out the scene!

Just a few weeks ago we gave you a peek into construction of cabanas at the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts’ shared pool, Stormalong Bay. This stellar pool (arguably one of the best on property) is a destination for guests at the resorts, and now a day poolside can be experienced in comfort! Rentals are now open for the cabanas for dates beginning March 17!
The cabanas will provide services and amenities such as padded furniture (including chairs and a couch), dedicated cast members, towels, a lockable cabinet, a mounted television with cable access, and charging outlets. [Read more…]
