Maybe you’ve even started looking at how you’re getting to Disney World, whether that be by driving or flying into Orlando International Airport. There is one thing you need to do, though, before you get ahead of yourself: be sure to buy your theme park tickets BEFORE October. We’re going to tell you why that’s so important.

Visiting Disney World is EXPENSIVE
Disney World getting more and more expensive is not a new concept, and sometimes the added costs can be worth it. Still, we can’t help but cringe when we see the price for add-ons and tickets, especially when we’ve finally become accustomed to certain prices. Unfortunately, our wallets will be taking another beating thanks to some 2026 Disney World price increases.
When we say we’re nerds for Disney here at Disney Food Blog, we mean it. In fact, we’re so nerdy for Disney that we keep track of prices of all Disney World food so we can see increases (and decreases, but hey, that isn’t too common).
EPCOT
We are sorry to report that two EPCOT spots have been hit with the “price increase bug,” so your next meal might be a bit more expensive.
Generally, when it comes to the cost of food and beverages, Disney World tends to reveal the majority of its price increases in the fall, but sometimes random price increases hit the parks throughout the year.
Typhoon Lagoon
Recently, we noticed that the prices for food and beverages at one of Disney World’s water parks, Typhoon Lagoon, recently went up, so we’re going to take a look at those price increases so you’ll be aware of them the next time you visit the parks.
President Trump recently announced sweeping tariffs on imported goods in a move he claims will revive manufacturing and generate revenue in the U.S., and while we don’t know for sure how — or if — they will impact Disney World, all signs point to potential price increases in the parks.

It seems as though we aren’t the only ones concerned about the impact of these tariffs, either. Disney CEO Bob Iger made a surprise appearance at ABC News’ daily editorial meeting on Thursday, April 3rd, and voiced his worries.

The tariffs include a 10 percent rate on all countries except Canada and Mexico, and double-digit rates on countries the Trump administration says had “treated the United States unfairly.” Reports indicate most Americans will start noticing the impact at the grocery store first — but tariffs could potentially impact Disney World prices, too.
