It’s been an interesting year but as folks begin to travel again, you might have a trip to Disney World on the docket. If you’re headed to the Most Magical Place on Earth in the next few months, we want to make sure you’re in the loop on what to expect!
Now that we’re in the midst of hurricane season, we’re looking ahead to some big weather we might see as the season progresses.

Disney World is located in Orlando, Florida which can mean warm weather and sun — but it can also mean rain and storms like with Hurricane Elsa. The 2021 hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th. So, we’re taking a look at predictions and what they mean for your Disney trip.
We are still quite a few months from the start of the Atlantic Hurricane Season, which begins in June.

However, this year, it looks like the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is considering pushing up the technical start of hurricane season to earlier in the year.

Well, one thing you’ll want to be aware of and plan for is the weather! And, while Florida is typically VERY warm for most of the year, things are actually looking a bit different for this next week. It seems Elsa is brining just a touch of winter weather to the Sunshine State!

When these storms roll through the parks, a lot of guests may be inclined to throw social distancing out the window in favor of quickly seeking shelter. Ever seen gaggles of guests huddled under awnings or in gift shop doorways during a storm? It’s not so simple to avoid the storms in a reopened Disney World nowadays!
Now many of you don’t mind a little rain, and take advantage of the (slightly) cooler weather to ride even more rides! But for those of you who want to avoid get too drenched in Disney World, here’s what YOU can do to maintain social distancing during a downpour.
