Did you know that one of the Hitchhiking Ghosts is a so-called miracle doctor?!
While we can only imagine why he’s out on the road with his two buddies, Ezra and Gus, Professor Phineas Plump has a top hat full of fashion and a suitcase full of remedies. Maybe he can even cure our hunger with all The Haunted Mansion Anniversary eats and treats in Disneyland?
The ghosts at The Haunted Mansion know how to throw a swingin’ party, you guys. And, a party isn’t complete with a bowl of punch, right?
Today, we’ve been telling you about a whole bunch of treats we found at The Haunted Mansion’s 50th-anniversary celebration in Disneyland. We’ve told you about The Caretaker sandwich and the Dead-Cadent Funnel Cake, but NOW we want to tell you about the Pickwick Ghost Punch from Royal Street Veranda!
Welcome foodie mortals! In case you didn’t know, the Haunted Mansion will be celebrating its 50th anniversary on August 9th.
Not only will Disneyland be ghost hosting a Haunted Mansion event but both Disneyland and Disney World will be selling exclusive merchandise and treats.

There are so many ways to Get Your Ears On at the Disney Parks and we just found a delicious new way!

Royal Street Veranda
Royal St Veranda in New Orleans Square is a simple walk-up window with a few tables but you will almost always find a long line (So don’t forget to use Mobile Ordering.) It’s known mostly for its hearty bread bowls. But to me this spot is all about the fritters!
If you’re at Disneyland Park for Valentine’s Day and Get Your Ears On treats, you can stop into Royal Street Veranda for a chocolate treat that’s rich enough to share!
The Double Chocolate Fritters feature deep-fried chocolate batter spotted with chocolate chunks. [Read more…]

This coming Saturday, March 18, 2017, marks a very special anniversary: the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction will celebrate 50 years. And lucky for us landlubbers, we’re invited to join the party in Disneyland with special entertainment, merchandise, and FOOD!!
Starting this Thursday, March 16th, specialty food items will be available at several restaurants for the occasion, and we’ll be listing those in a moment. But we’ve simply GOT to start with one item in pARRRR-ticular (see what I did there?): GOLD-DUSTED CHURROS are coming to Disneyland for the celebration! [Read more…]
Royal St. Veranda in New Orleans Square is one of my favorite dining gems in Disneyland. They are most known for their Clam Chowder in a Bread Bowl, but I go there for the fritters!
This spot is located just underneath the staircase to the Dream Suite — right next to Pirates of the Caribbean. It’s simply a walk-up window and a few tables and chairs scattered around. Nothing major, and nothing visually to draw you in. But the menu has always been a guest favorite and you’re about to see why!
Fall is here and the Disneyland Resort is full of lots of amazing seasonal treats.
If you know me, you know this is my very favorite food season and anything with the word “pumpkin” in the title is something that you’ll find me ordering.
Two things that I recently devoured, both located at Disneyland, are the Pumpkin Fritters from Royal Street Veranda and Pumpkin Beignets from the Mint Julep Bar. Both are mouth watering, but I do have a favorite… .
In my book, the Pumpkin Fritters reign tastiest seasonal pumpkin treat. But don’t worry, if you prefer the Pumpkin Beignets, I’ll still be your friend!
Let’s start with MY favorite:
Pumpkin Fritters can be be found at Royal Street Veranda near Pirates of the Caribbean.
Known for their chowder in a bread bowl, this great little spot also serves fritters. Normally the fritters are apple, but this year they have seasonal Pumpkin “Squash” Fritters!
For $3.69 you get a very generous portion of [Read more…]
