Hold up! Rope dropping EPCOT this month just got a little different.
It’s never a bad idea to check the park hours before heading into Disney World, but as a Florida local, I’m guilty of just assuming the parks open at the same time every day, which, while true most of the time, can definitely cause some issues. EPCOT is opening later than usual for a day this month, so let’s take a look at how that affects your plans.

We are in the final third of 2026, can you believe it?!? We saw a lot in 2025, from ride closures to reopenings to hotel refurbishments, plenty of new snacks and merchandise, and just about everything in between. 2025 was great, but we’re now in a new Disney era!
For your 2026 trip, there are some key dates you’ll want to know before booking your vacation.
Disney World will be facing a VERY transformative year in 2026, and while we’re looking forward to all the new lands coming, it does mean we’ll see a LOT of construction walls for the next 12+ months.
While many of these construction projects won’t OPEN until 2027 and beyond, such as Villains Land, Piston Peak, and Monsters, Inc. Land, there ARE projects that will be completed next year, and we’re really looking forward to seeing what they bring to the park. If you’re already planning a trip for 2026, these are the dates you need to grab your tickets and/or park pass reservations for ASAP!
The 2025 Walt Disney World Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend is just around the corner, and now it’s time to check out what merchandise will be available at the event!

Traffic at Disney World can turn a magical vacation into a pretty stressful start.
Between runDisney events, cheerleading competitions, and holiday weekends, there are some days when driving to the resort is going to feel way less convenient than usual. That does not mean you have to stay home, but it does mean you’ll want to plan ahead if you’re bringing your car to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Let’s go through the 8 dates in 2026 when you may want to avoid driving to Disney World.
Eek! The start of the runDisney season is almost here, and we couldn’t be more excited to lace up our sneakers, pick up our race bib, and get up at 2 AM to go running (okay, well maybe we’re not as excited about that).
