Hello, DFB Readers! We’ve just been to Magic Kingdom!
And we don’t have a LOT of new stuff to share from there, but let’s get straight to what updates we do have, shall we?
Hello, friends! We spent the day at Disney World, reporting in on new Donut Minnie Ears (!) new drinks, and a water leak at the Polynesian Resort!
It’s been a busy and rainy day, but that doesn’t stop us from just taking time to enjoy everything at the parks so that we can get tons of photos and videos to share with you. Because it’s just not the same if we can’t bring y’all along with us!
Disney World offers lots of iconic attractions and experiences that are often must-dos for your trip!
Activities like taking photos in front of Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom, drinking around the world in EPCOT, taking a ride on Kilimanjaro Safari in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and traveling to Batuu in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios are things we easily associate with Disney World (and must-do’s in our book!). BUT, there are also plenty of hidden gems that many people don’t check out during their trips — and we think you should! Here are five things you’re NOT doing in Disney World, but we really think you should be!
Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom is a card game that allows guests to interact with all kinds of special elements in the park. Just a few days ago, we shared that the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom experience will becoming to a halt.
At this moment, this card game is still operational, but now we’ve got some information that could point to when it will be suspended.
It’s time for another look at the Magic Kingdom!
We headed into the magical theme park to see what’s new and report back! We found loads of merchandise and learned that a fan-favorite experience is closing. Plus, we’ve got popcorn bucket updates! Come see what we found this week!
Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom is a card game that allows guests to interact with elements around the theme park.
Guests can pick up a pack of cards (most of which are free) and use them to make “magical” images appear throughout the Magic Kingdom. The technology is similar to Agent Ps World Showcase Adventure in EPCOT, which was suspended in February 2020. We’ve now confirmed that Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom will also be suspended.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party kicks off on November 8th in Disney’s Magic Kingdom!
And while many people may know that you can hang out with Disney characters pals and chow down on tons of exclusive eats at Mickey’s Very Merry, there are also a few lesser-known unique holiday perks as well. One of these is the party exclusive Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom card!
It’s no secret that a Disney World vacation costs A LOT of money! There’s the cost of the hotel room, theme park tickets, food, and all the other little things that add up. And of course the kiddos (and grownups) will want souvenirs, leaving you to wonder: How can I make everyone happy and not break the bank on souvenirs?
Believe it or not there are FREE — yes, FREE — goodies all around Disney World that not only make great souvenirs, but will make kids of all ages happy! And today, our good friends at Small World Vacations are sharing their tips and tricks on how to score some FREE (and almost free or at least inexpensive) souvenirs at Walt Disney World.
You may think a trip to Disney World isn’t complete without purchasing some of the trendy new souvenirs, like the new Halloween Loungefly backpacks or Betsey Johnson Minnie Ears. We TOTALLY get that.
But, did you know you can get a bunch of Disney World souvenirs for FREE? And they’re super fun to collect, too! Put your kiddos in charge of this scavenger hunt! Explore our list of 11 awesome souvenirs that can be yours for free in Disney World.
We are just weeks away — believe it or not — from the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for the 2018 holiday season! This extra ticket event features special entertainment, treats, and more exclusive to guests at the Party. It also offers a complimentary Spell Card for the interactive Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom game! And you will very likely recognize our fine feathered friends featured on this year’s card…
