Even though many new offerings arrived at Disney World this week, there are still several things to come!

We’re anticipating the completion of the EPCOT transformation, watching the construction progress on the Tron coaster, and hoping to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind ASAP. However, one thing that we DO have an arrival date for is Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, and today we got some new details!
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will be opening on March 1, 2022 at Walt Disney World!

The hotel is going to be completely immersive, with characters, storylines, and activities to make you feel like you’re actually in the world of Star Wars. Much of this is included in the cost of your stay, but there will be other experiences you can add on, and we just learned the cost of one special experience!
This is a big week, as Disney World’s 50th anniversary officially kicks off.

Disney World’s newest hotel, the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (also known to us as the Star Wars hotel), will be a unique 2-night, immersive experience fit for even the biggest fans of Star Wars.

Today we learned not only the day reservations open for the Star Wars hotel, but also when the first “voyages” will commence! Select people have access to a special early window for reserving a spot on the Galactic Starcruiser, so here’s what you need to know if you want to be among the first guests of the Galactic Starcruiser.
Earlier this year, Disney World released a lot of details about the new Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser experience (a.k.a. the Star Wars Hotel).

Recently we learned new details about the Star Wars hotel, and we got a sneak peek of some food dishes. Disney also announced the opening timeline for the hotel, but “Spring 2022” didn’t give us the exact date. Well, now we DO have the date, and it’s time to set alarms and mark calendars!
The new Star Wars hotel, located right in Hollywood Studios’ backyard, is shaping up to be Walt Disney World’s most immersive experience ever.

And Disney has been giving us a BUNCH of details over the past several months! We know when it’s going to open (roughly), what some of the food will look like, what the itinerary might include, and got more information about pricing. We’re getting really excite about this galactic adventure, and with all of the information we’ve gotten so far, we wanted to make sure nothing gets left behind! Guests who stay at the Galactic Starcruiser will visit for two nights, during which they’ll be able to participate in tons of Star Wars activities, including “Story Moments” that can change your experience depending on which characters you interact with, droid racing, a visit to Batuu in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and more. Today there’s a new way to bring the Galactic Starcruiser right to your devices, and it’s left us wondering which side we’d join. Maybe it will give you an idea of who you are in the Star Wars universe!
Listen, Disney World is expensive. We’ve seen price increases throughout the parks and resorts, and what feels like less and less included benefits for guests. Yesterday, Disney revealed the pricing for the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser, and people had thoughts.
