Hello to all our DFB Friends!
We spent a day at Hollywood Studios, living the best Hollywood life, getting our Star Wars on, and hitting up all the shops to see if we could spot anything new. So get ready for some updates!
When Disney+ first debuted in 2019, it was met with pretty instant success and a surge of subscribers across different demographics (a.k.a. it’s not all people with kiddos on there). But even Disney itself didn’t predict just how successful Disney+ would quickly become.Â
Like other at-home streaming platforms, Disney+ has been in the spotlight in a MAJOR way over the past year. Disney+ quickly went from just another piece of the Disney brand to something much bigger. So much so that Disney restructured some of its businesses to make streaming its primary focus for entertainment. While other parts of the Walt Disney Company are closed and Disney reports some big losses, Disney+ has become a major focus for Disney. But just how much is Disney+ making? Â
As we all know, Disney fandom certainly isn’t confined to places like Disney World and Disneyland. From bakeries to grocery stores across the country, the Disney love is EVERYWHERE.
Now it appears even the National Hurricane Center is embracing its inner Disney Princess, based on the names its chosen for the upcoming 2021 Atlantic hurricane season.
When Friday rolls around, the first thing on our minds is the newest episode of WandaVision!
Although we’ve been on the lookout for themed Marvel cakes and buses in the parks, there’s a new merchandise collection online that’s caught our line of Vision! (Get it?)
Well, it was ANOTHER rainy day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
But we’re never going to let a little rain spoil a day at Disney World, so we made our way around the park to see if we could find anything new since our last visit (which was, ironically, rainy, too).
We’re really big fans of Disney+’s newest show, WandaVision!
The show has been a hit among Marvel fans with its sitcom-meets-mystery-thriller style and lovable characters. We’ve been so invested that we’ve been shopping the merchandise to rep our new favorite show, and even trying out special themed treats in Disney Springs. And once again this week, Amorette’s Patisserie has released a WandaVision cake, but there’s something peculiar about this one!
Lately, we’ve seen a WandaVision MagicBand, cakes, pins, and more in Disney World. It sort of has us wondering if Wanda has expanded the Hex to include the Most Magical Place on Earth.
The thing we found today definitely looks like it has spent some time in Westview and has been trying to break out!
If you’re like us, you’ve likely found yourself throughly entertained by (and also extremely confused by) each episode of WandaVision.
Is Wanda really in control? What’s actually going on here? And, the age old question, is it Mephisto?! But, if you’re wondering just HOW popular WandaVision is, fans have just proved how much they love the series considering they basically crashed Disney+ to watch the new epsiode!
We just spent a lovely day traveling around Disney World’s Magic Kingdom resorts!
And we’ve got a ton of updates, so grab a cup of coffee or tea, curl up in your favorite chair, and let’s get started!
We’ve still got SO many questions about WandaVision. But, while we wait for answers to our questions, at least we can enjoy some awesome WandaVision goodies.
You can snag Wanda and Vision’s wedding rings online, get some cool shirts, or even go behind the scenes with the actors. And if you’re looking to bring a bit of Westview into your Starbucks order we tried a custom order today in Magic Kingdom that you’ve GOT to check out!
