Disney has so many new ideas planned, and we are so excited!
From new themed lands, theme park expansions, restaurants, and cruise ships, there is so much in store for Disney in the future! We are incredibly excited for all the new dining locations and cannot wait to try them when they open!
Disney World
We have been anticipating the opening of restaurants at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and the Magic Kingdom!
Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs
Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs will soon have a new location on the BoardWalk! You can find Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs at Downtown Disney in Disneyland. This stand is known for its fun takes on corn dogs like the Pickle Corn Dog! We have been watching the construction progress and cannot wait for this to join the line-up of dining at the BoardWalk later this year!

Cake Bake Shop Restaurant
We have been waiting for quite sometime for the Cake Bake Shop Restaurant over at the BoardWalk Inn to open. Previously, this location was home to the ESPN Club. This table service restaurant is owned by Gwendolyn Rogers and will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This location will offer an afternoon tea service along with a CHAMPAGNE BAR!
We look forward to trying out all the fun goodies when this location opens in early 2024!

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort DVC Villas
The Polynesian Village Resort is getting a new hotel wing! We have been watching the progress, and construction is coming along! This new hotel building will be part of the Disney Vacation Club. When it opens, it will offer a new pool and dining experiences! While we have yet to get all the details, we are looking forward to seeing what type of restaurants will be included. We love ‘Ohana and the other restaurants over in the Great Ceremonial House, and we can’t wait to see what new food will be offered in this building!

Magic Kingdom
Pirates of the Caribbean Tavern
Over in Magic Kingdom, the beloved attraction Pirates of the Caribbean will get its own themed lounge! Disney said this new lounge will “extend the Pirates of the Caribbean story.” More details will be revealed in the future, but we are so excited to be able to dine here!
Here’s a Look at the CLUES Disney Has Dropped About the New Pirates Lounge!
Disneyland
Hopping over to the West Coast, Disneyland’s Downtown Disney is currently under a lot of construction to bring us new dining experiences!
Porto’s Bakery
It was announced at D23 back in 2022 that Porto’s Bakery would be opening in Downtown Disney. This spot is very well known in Southern California. This bakery serves up delicious signature pastries and savory Cuban food. Currently, Earl of Sandwich is housed in the future home of Porto’s Bakery. We are still waiting for an opening date, but we think construction could start soon as a new location for Earl of Sandwich has been announced.
Earl of Sandwich
Earl of Sandwich has had a rough journey at Downtown Disney, but it ultimately keeps coming back, and we are not complaining! After the original location was closed, Earl of Sandwich moved to the old location of La Brea Cafe. As we mentioned above, Porto’s Bakery will be taking the spot of Earl of Sandwich, but fear not! Earl of Sandwich will be getting a new permanent location very soon, and it will be two stories!
When it is time for Earl of Sandwich to vacate its current location, you will still be able to pick up some of your favorite sandwiches at their temporary pop-up location next to the Star Wars Trading Post!
Din Tai Fung
This award-winning restaurant will be joining Downtown Disney later this year! Dishes here are served family-style, and they are well known for their soup dumplings! This location will be found on the west side of Downtown Disney near the new lawn space! While we do not have an exact opening date, we have seen construction progress, and we are hoping that they are able to stick with the 2024 estimated date of completion!
Paseo
Paseo will replace Catal Restaurant, and we are excited to say it will open in May 2024! Paseo is a Mexican restaurant started by Chef Carlos Gaytan, the first Michelin-starred chef born in Mexico! This restaurant is said to be an upscale gourmet Mexican spot.
Centrico
Much of what was said about Paseo applies to Centrico as it is also a product of Chef Gaytan. Centrico will be replacing the former Uva Bar. From what we can tell, Centrico will be an open-air bar space that will be serving smaller Mexican-style plates. Again, this location is on a similar timeline to Paseo and will open in May 2024.

Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Treasure
It’s time to head over to the high seas and check out what new dining offerings will be aboard Disney’s soon-to-be newest cruise ship, the Disney Treasure. The Treasure’s maiden voyage is set for December of this year, and there are so many new fun dining spots on board!
Plaza de Coco
Plaza de Coco will be part of Disney’s signature rotational dining experience aboard Disney Cruise Line. This restaurant will be a theatrical dining experience and will be the FIRST themed to a Disney and Pixar film! Passengers will get to dine at this unique location TWO evenings. The menu is said to be a modern twist on traditional Mexican fare. The story will pick up right where the film left off where Miguel and his familia will come together in Mariachi Plaza.
Worlds of Marvel
Worlds of Marvel debuted on the Disney Wish and will join the Disney Treasure! The restaurant will offer the same experiences aboard the Wish. Worlds of Marvel is interactive, and you can get your whole table involved! The menu is based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with food inspired by Wakanda, Eastern European Sokovia, California, China, South America, and New York City. This location will offer two interactive nights with different menus!

1923
This restaurant is also aboard the Wish but will be part of the dining rotation on the Treasure as well! 1923 is named after the year that Walt Disney Animation Studios was founded. The atmosphere is inspired by Disney animation, and the restaurant has many fun details. There are two dining rooms, the Walt Disney Dining Room and the Roy Disney Dining Room, which both reflect Hollywood glamour and Disney touches. The menu is inspired by the flavors of California.

Skipper Society
We have been super excited about this new Jungle-Cruise-themed bar that will be aboard the Treasure! The bar will take inspiration from this popular attraction that has different versions across the globe! There will be fun hidden Easter eggs that nod to the attraction. The Treasure will even have its own Jungle Cruise boat named Ems Express!
Haunted Mansion Parlor
We love this theme of lounges and bars based on some of our favorite attractions! Soon aboard the Treasure, you will get the opportunity to sip cocktails among our favorite 999 happy haunts! You can expect to see famous and iconic characters from Haunted Mansion attractions around the world, along with new haunts. This bar will tell a story in 30-minute loops. Of course, there will be signature drinks like a zero-proof cocktail served in a specialty mug called Sympathetic Libations!

Periscope Pub
Another lounge based on an attraction? We love it! The Periscope Pub will take inspiration from the film and defunct attraction 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. This Submarine-inspired lounge will present “19th-century steampunk influences.” There will be light bites, craft brews, and TVs to allow you to watch any sporting event!
Marceline Market
Marceline Market is also aboard the Wish. This will be the Treasure’s daily buffet, where passengers can get breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Marceline is considered to be Walt Disney’s hometown in Missouri, and this buffet is a nod to that. The food found here is inspired by different markets around the world!

Jumbeaux’s Sweets
If you have a sweet tooth, then Jumbeaux Sweets is where you will want to be! This Zootopia-inspired sweet spot will also have an ice cream parlor called Jumbeaux Café. Here, you can find a photo opp with Officer Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde! This shop will be a “playful pink” shop featuring Victorian-style architecture.
HeiHei Café
Need a pick-me-up? Look no further than HeiHei Café! This location will be a casual walk-up location serving up coffee and tea right off the Grand Hall.
Jade Cricket Café
There will also be another walk-up café offering coffee, tea, and more. This location is inspired by the Fa Family’s “lucky” cricket, Cri-Kee from Mulan!

True-True Too BBQ
When you get hungry on the island, you can head to True-Tue Too BBQ. This seashell-inspired restaurant will provide a shaded pavilion in which to sit. We hope it lives up to Cookies BBQ over at Castaway Cay!

Tokyo DisneySea
Fantasy Springs over in Tokyo DisneySea at Tokyo Disneyland will open on June 6th this year! This will be the park’s eighth port, and it’ll bring THREE new lands for you to explore! The three lands will feature Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan. There will be new attractions, rides, and restaurants.
Royal Banquet of Arendelle
Royal Banquet of Arendelle will be located in Frozen Kingdom. The Royal Banquet of Arendelle is a quick-service restaurant that is set inside the castle of Arendelle. You can dine in areas “reminiscent of scenes from the film.” You will also be able to eat outside in a covered space to enjoy the view.
Mobile Order will be offered, and Disney said, “Guests who visit this restaurant will be able to join the celebratory banquet and enjoy an offering called ‘Arendelle’s Royal Set.’” This meal will be served in a basket and will feature a full spread of appetizers, entrées, and dessert.
Oaken’s OK Foods
Of course, Oaken will have his own place at Frozen Kingdom! Oaken’s OK Foods will be a small snack shop run by Oaken. This location will be a counter-service restaurant. Here, you will be able to try Oaken’s Yoo-Hoo Bread, which is filled with spiced meat and lingonberry jam.
