WFTV also shared this statement from a Disney spokesperson: “Nothing is more important to us than safety. Upon learning this news, we immediately began working with the Florida Department of Health in Orange County. The impacted cast member has not worked since being diagnosed and will not return until officially cleared by the Department of Health. We are not aware of anyone else becoming ill and continue to be engaged with the Department of Health to ensure we have all of the right processes in place to protect our cast members and guests.” [Read more…]

Hoop Dee Doo Revue
That’s right, friends… we’re back at the one, the only HOOP-DEE-DOO MUSICAL REVUE!
In fact, a trip to Fort Wilderness Campgrounds to see the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue — one of Disney World’s three dinner shows — has been a must-do experience for many Disney World guests over the Revue’s 41-year run, as evidenced by the fact that year after year many families make a point to mosey on over to Pioneer Hall to enjoy this quintessential Disney World tradition.

Atmosphere and Show
In 2014, The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue celebrated its 40th Anniversary. All you can eat picnic food served in metal buckets; all you can drink beer, wine, and sangria; a show that’s been entertaining guests since Disney World first opened? It’s all good.
And they serve one of my very favorite foods. So we thought it would be fun to share a recipe that can bring home the awesome flavors and fun atmosphere of this fantastic spot: Hoop Dee Doo Cornbread!
Let’s get to it!
3/4 cup cornmeal
1 1/4 cup sugar
