What if you could go to Disney World and not have to wait in ANY lines? Sounds like a dream, right?
Welp, that’s because it is (at least for now!). The lines have been loooong in Disney World lately thanks to Spring Break crowds and we don’t expect they’ll slow down any time soon. After all, Spring Break season is pretty long! So, just how bad is it? Well let’s take a look at this week’s wait times in Disney World!

If you are saying, “Bob Cheapskate, I am not paying for a fast pass!” Resort rope dropping is for you. Resort Rope drop Jungle Cruise, Remy Ratatouille Adventure, Rise of the Resistance, and Flight of Passage. The wait times for those will increase throughout the day.

We were at Disney world the middle 2 weeks in February supposing that this would be a down time. Overall the 4 best rides in each park wait times were 90 minutes to 2 and a half hours. The Lightning passes only worked if you were staying in one of the in park hotels. And the 2 favorite rides in each park required additional cost above the lightning pass that you bought. Parks were only available by reservation. Most of the restaurants required reservations 30 to 60 days in advance. In general, the food was mediocre to bad. The Italian Restaurant in Epcot was the only exception. People are obviously traveling now and the parks are crazy crowded. Guests in general were not very happy, nor are the employees who are not happy with the new management. This is not a good year to visit Disney World. We actually had a much better time at the Universal Parks.

Many of the rides actually seem to be lower then when we were there in May 2021. Best time we had was in July 2020. No crowds. Could it be that the high wait tines are in part due to the Genie plus and perhaps Disney actually over. Crowding the parks. I refuse to go anymore if I can’t enjoy the parks or if it’s going to cost even more to do a fraction of what we used to do. There are better parks elsewhere. Disney is not what it used to be. And the pandemic can’t be blamed for all of the issues.

Spring Break and the failure of Genie+, is anyone really surprised the lines and the wait times are long?

Just horrifying, lol. But this is what they were in November! And NOBODY was expecting it! I was talking to CMs who were just floored that people just kept coming to the parks- I even had issues getting into Pop Century & Art of Animation!
