Disney fans are not limited by age. We know people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and older who love going to the Disney World parks, with or without kids.
If you’re a 50-something year old visiting Magic Kingdom, whether it’s your first visit or 100th, there are probably a few things you avoid that other guests really enjoy doing. As you gain life experience, some rides are just not great anymore. We polled our team (which includes a few individuals in their 50s) and came up with these nine rides older Disney Adults may refuse to ride in Magic Kingdom.
If you’re 50 or older and are still loving these rides, we’re so happy for you! Keep on enjoying what you love. For those of us who just don’t want to end up with an aching back, motion sickness, or the like, keep reading to find out which rides to avoid.
Disney World offers free transportation between the hotels, parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. It’s a great perk of staying at a Disney World hotel!
While it’s nice to have free transportation to practically anywhere you need to go within Disney World, it’s certainly not without it’s faults. There are certainly a few problems with Disney World transportation, and we’re going through five of them that make us VERY mad. But don’t worry, we’ll give you a few tips to avoid these issues, too.
Do you remember the 21st night of September?
This might not be an official holiday, but to Disney, September 21st is a huge celebration all across EPCOT. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind plays “September” by Earth, Wind, & Fire, all day long in honor of the iconic lyrics, and typically, it brings the crowds. Let’s take a look at the crowds for September 21st, 2025, in EPCOT.
Anyone who has been to Disney World in the last couple of decades knows how integral MagicBands have become to the resort experience.
The latest iteration, MagicBand+, serves multiple functions, including functioning as a Walt Disney World or Disneyland entry ticket, checking in for Lightning Lanes and connecting with Photopass, and reacting to select Disney theme park attractions with “lighting effects and gesture recognition.”
Disney’s Hollywood Studios has already been under a LOT of construction this year, with the addition of Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After (which we love) and The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure (for all you Disney princess fans), not to mention that Muppets Courtyard is being turned into the new Monsters, Inc. Land as you read this.
That’s not all, though. There’s ANOTHER big construction project starting soon, and by that we mean *checks watch* in just five days. So head into this spot soon, because it’s about to look ENTIRELY different!
Halloween is getting bigger and better ALL the time, and we’re not just talking about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World or Halloween Horror Nights in Universal Orlando.
Halloween is getting better EVERYWHERE, including in Las Vegas, where a new permanent attraction, Universal Horror Unleashed, will make it feel like Halloween year-round. Well, we got a chance to check out Horror Unleashed for ourselves, and we’re bringing you along for the (very, very scary; no weenies allowed) ride.
Refurbishments are nothing new at Walt Disney World, as rides at all four theme parks are often under refurbishment. However, it’s not ONLY the parks that are having work done.
There is A LOT of construction work going on at Disney World, and some of that construction work involves remodeling rooms across numerous Disney World hotels. If you hope to find yourself staying in a recently refurbished hotel room, then we are rounding up the Disney World hotels with brand-new rooms in 2025.
Anyone else enjoy jamming out in the shower to start your day, or end your day on a high note? We know we do (literally, every time — no exceptions!). If you’re not treating yourself to a shower concert, well, you’re doing it WRONG.
Here’s the thing. We’ve stayed in a LOT of Disney World hotels. Like, all of them. And the one thing we always take note of during our stay? The bathroom experience. Yes, really! What’s the shower situation? How’s the counterspace? These are important questions! Luckily for you, we have answers — and ALL the essentials you need for the optimal hotel shower experience.
If you’ve got a Disney vacation coming up, your travel plans may be affected before you even set foot in the parks. OK, so most people try to get through the airport part of their vacation as quickly as possible because, duh, who wants to be stuck in an airport? But this announcement from the Orlando International Airport might result in some longer travel times, so be prepared.

Orlando International Airport
The Orlando airport has officially decided to replace its Gate Link vehicles, tracks, and electrical control equipment, which means a LONNNG construction period is on the way. Obviously, this will impact transportation around the airport for travelers, so let’s take a look at what to expect.
