There’s been a lot to see in this park recently, with the Food & Wine festival wrapping up, holiday decorations arriving, several restaurants getting extended hours, and so much more! Let’s check out the main things we noticed here on our latest visit!
We love seeing festive popcorn buckets around the parks.
Christmas Tree Popcorn Bucket
People go crazy over these things because Disney makes some really unique bucket designs. Just recently, we’ve seen a light-up Christmas tree and a super-fun retro Disneyland design! Now, we’ve spotted ANOTHER holiday bucket that has returned to Magic Kingdom, and we’re pretty excited about it.

We’ve seen shakes topped with entire slices of pie, blended versions of classic desserts, and don’t even get us started on last year’s crazy holiday shake! If you’re looking for a treat that’s super Instagrammable and very hard to finish by yourself, then this may be the place for you. Today, they dropped a new Mickey-themed milkshake, and we just HAD to go and try it out!
It’s no secret that we LOVE Minnie ears here at DFB!
Gingerbread Ears
We especially love the really unique designs that Disney comes out with. Recently, we’ve seen holiday ears, pizza ears, ears based on attractions, and even ears that support a good cause! We also shared with you a few weeks ago that the Mickey Balloon Ears had received a wintery makeover. We’ve spotted them in Walt Disney World and online, and now they’ve made their way to Downtown Disney!
We have loved all the holiday offerings in Disney World so far!
Holiday Cavalcades
We’ve got holiday cavalcades in each park, TONS of delicious seasonal snacks, decorations in the resorts and parks, and we even have loads of seasonal fun in Disney Springs! Even though this year is different than what we’ve experienced in the past, we’re still loving it. And now, select guests will be able to get a taste of what things were like before with a socially-distanced meet and greet with Santa Claus!

Cinderella Castle
We’ve seen a lot of changes here in the past few weeks: Christmas decorations, holiday cavalcades, new merchandise, and so many delicious snacks! Today we visited the park to see what we could add to that list, so let’s dive right in!
There’s nothing quite like Disney World during the holiday season!
Grand Floridian Christmas decorations
Disney decorates the parks and resorts to make us feel warm, cozy, holly, and jolly — all at the same time! So far this holiday season, we’ve seen decor pop up at a number of resorts — Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and several others. Now we can add two more resorts to the list because the halls are decked at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort!
Earlier today, the Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products, Josh D’Amaro, made a presentation at the IAAPA Expo about progress on many of Disney’s ongoing projects.

He shared updates on projects like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Space 220 Restaurant, and Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser in Walt Disney World. He also discussed several projects ongoing at Disneyland Paris. And we also got the chance to see several photos from inside Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, which are both still currently closed.
Baby Yoda here, Baby Yoda there, Baby Yoda everywhere! It seems like Disney is releasing merchandise based on the hit Disney+ show, The Mandalorian, left and right these days!

Just recently, we’ve seen Baby Yoda magnets, phone cases, t-shirts, AND lots of toys! Now there are some super-cute new The Child bags available on shopDisney!
Disney has several amazing holiday face mask designs available in the parks and online!
Gingerbread face mask
You already know that we love Christmas and holiday merchandise, so having SO MANY new face mask choices has been really great! Recently, Disney released a collection of holiday face masks with Spirit Jersey, and the classic designs must have been pretty popular, because now there’s a new mask to add to the group!
