Over at Disneyland Resort, the Downtown Disney shopping and dining district is undergoing some major changes. Several new restaurants were announced a while back, but it doesn’t seem like Disney is done revealing changes just yet! And, some updates are on their way to a popular Downtown Disney sweet spot, too!

Gideon’s Bakehouse became a near overnight sensation when the gourmet cookie company opened their first outlet in 2016. Within weeks of opening in Orlando’s East End Market, Gideon’s was featured in publications ranging from New York Times to The Boston Globe, to Sports Illustrated. The chain opened up a flagship location at Disney Springs four years later in 2020, and has remained one of the property’s moist in-demand snack offerings since.

We’re in the parks every single day, and even we sometimes still come across something we haven’t seen before (it’s rare — but it happens!). And when it does, we love sharing the news with you. We’ve known about this hidden bar in Disney World for a while, but we realized not everyone might know about it — until now!
Disney giveth, and Disney taketh away.

We know they say if you love something, you should let it go and if it comes back — it’s yours (or at least that’s what Christina Aguilera taught me.) But, in this particular instance, we’re miffed because we didn’t even get the chance to say goodbye. Sure, Disney is known for having limited-time snacks, but what happens when something goes missing without a trace? Unfortunately, now we know.
If there isn’t some kind of seasonal treat being offered in Disney World during your vacation, I’ll eat my pants.
