It’s no secret that California Grill atop Walt Disney World’s Contemporary Resort is an elegant and special place to dine any night of the year, but there is something magical about dining here on Valentine’s Day. The views, the ambiance, and the food combine to create a special, one-of-a-kind evening.
California Grill is offering a three-course menu for Valentine’s Day. The meal consists of an appetizer, an entree, and a shared dessert. Starters include a choice between Colorado Bison Tartare and Lobster Bisque.
The Get Your Ears On celebration is in full effect in Disneyland Resort, the Grand Californian Hotel and Spa is joining the party with two awesome eats! Our Disneyland correspondent Heather (killin’ it @DiningInDisney!) found a few soft open items yesterday — including this Mickey Shaped(?) Pizza at Hearthstone Lounge!
Cut to us being a little disappointed that the pizza is not, in fact, Mickey shaped. [Read more…]
Howdy, folks! It’s time for another What’s New! This time we’re at Magic Kingdom where the last vestiges of the holiday season are disappearing, and we’ve discovered new merchandise, the return of some sweet treats, and more! Come join us for a walk through the park!

And you know what that means…
You know how we at the DFB feel about poutine. We love it so much we created a poutine crawl last year. We visit The Daily Poutine in Disney Springs often to sample their limited time offerings. And if we spot poutine on a menu, we pretty much can’t help ourselves. So secret menu poutine at Le Cellier? Yeah, we gotta tell you about this one!
It’s called Annual Passholder Poutine — but you don’t need to have an Annual Pass to get it! [Read more…]
Mickey and Minnie’s Get Your Ears On celebration
officially starts TODAY, but our intrepid Disneyland correspondent Heather (hi, @DiningInDisney!) scoured the park yesterday to try some of the treats that made an early debut. And what she found… is adorable.
It’s a Minnie Mouse Cronut, and you can get yours at Schmoozies! in Disney California Advenure (along with a Mickey Mouse version that wasn’t out yet when Heather was there last night — we’ll get it for ya today)!
Ever since Epcot’s Kringla Bakeri og Kafe reopened in August 2018, we’ve been keeping an eye on the pastry case to see what old favorites returned and what new treats await. Just a few days ago, we told you that Troll Horns (finally!) made a comeback! And just yesterday we let you know about the Troll Kreme Spiked Slush that’s perfect for fortifying the spirit before jumping in line for Frozen Ever After.
And now we’re bringing you a sweet treat that’s reindeer approved (because, after all, reindeer are better than people). It’s Sven’s Apple Cheesecake, and it’s lovely in its simplicity.
Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts begins on Friday
, and today DFB popped into a media preview to give you the scoop on some can’t miss merch — including Figment Ears that are absolutely a must buy! We also got to try several of the eats and see a lot of the other fun secrets coming to Festival of the Arts, so stay tuned for that post later today!
But first say hello to the boss. I love his new short pants so much. FYI, this new “Celebration Mickey” will be seen everywhere coming this Friday when the parks start fully celebrating his 90th birthday with new shows, new food, and new experiences! Stay tuned for that — we’ll be reporting on all of it!
And now ears. Beloved Figment — star of the updated and oft-maligned Journey Into Imagination in Epcot’s Future World — has finally gotten his due in Mickey ear form. And you’ve just got to see them.
