How many things can YOU knock off our Disney Cruise Line Bucket List??
From diaper dashing to death certificates, we’ll give you the full bucket-list rundown today so you can start building yours.
Did you know that the Walt Disney Company has thousands of patents? They’re filing new patents all the time for new technologies, methods, builds, and anything else you can think of. Sometimes we see Disney’s patents and go, “Huh? How will that fit in the parks?” The Walt Disney Company has so many different parts, and they’re always discovering something new, even if it doesn’t end up being used for parks and movies.
Disney recently filed three new patents, and we’re breaking them down right here!
Disney Cruise Line continues to grow. A new ship, the Disney Adventure, just launched this year (and we were there for its maiden voyage!). Disney has also announced the Disney Believe, which will set sail in 2027. In addition, three NEW ships are being built to set sail between 2029 and 2031.
However, the most exciting news we’ve heard recently from Disney Cruise Line is about a brand new ship that will set sail from Japan, a first for Disney Cruise Line. Disney revealed new details about this ship, and we’re going to fill you in on all the good stuff!
Okay, who’s getting excited about visiting Monstropolis next year in Disney’s Hollywood Studios? We certainly are! We can’t wait to roam the streets where Mike and Sulley spend their lives and check out Harryhausen’s, the Welcome to Monstropolis show, and the new roller coaster based on the movie’s doors scene (which will be opening after the rest of the land).
Well, we just visited the construction site of Monstropolis and noticed some updates, so we knew we had to share them with you.
Lace up your sneakers, start stretching, and get yourself to Disney World, because we need to talk about runDisney!
The next runDisney race is the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend from October 22nd to October 25th. However, as excited as we are, we’re not here to talk about that race. We want to talk about the 2027 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, because we just got a first look at the medals!
Every time we go to renew our Walt Disney World Annual Pass, we wince and hope our wallet isn’t about to grow arms and smack us across the face…but then when we visit for the first time since renewing, we’re reminded of how much we love being able to pop in the parks without paying each time!
There are tons of additional perks that come with being an Annual Passholder, but it’s important to keep a close eye out, because sometimes those perks change super quick. We feel pretty accomplished when we get to experience something unique to Passholders, or save a bit of money that we otherwise wouldn’t have, just because we knew about Passholder deals, so we make sure you’re up-to-date too! Disney just dropped some new perks you won’t want to miss, including extra special reservations at one of our favorite lounges.
It’s no secret that a trip to Disney World is — and always has been — an expensive proposition. That can be especially true when choosing which hotel to stay at on property. That’s why ANY time I’m searching for a hotel at Disney World — like, say, for a 2027 stay — there’s one button I always check for available discounts!
And these discounts don’t apply just at Disney-owned hotels… There are also discounts available at other hotels on property that Disney doesn’t own. Let’s take a look at the current available discounts!
There’s something extra special about eating Thanksgiving dinner in Disney World, but there’s one part of it that we can’t get over — the CROWDS.
Many Disney World restaurants have special Thanksgiving menus that they offer for those visiting to celebrate the holiday, but the sheer amount of crowds you’ll find in the parks during that week. That makes grabbing dining reservations pretty tricky for most spots, but what if we told you that there will be a way to grab a truly delicious meal TO GO, and eat it back in your hotel room away from said crowds? Yep, it’s true, and we’re already in heaven.
Have you felt the shift in the force at Disneyland and Disney World? Galaxy’s Edge is arguably the most immersive experience you’ll get at the Disney Parks. The sights and sounds, the attractions, and the characters all make you feel like you’re in a Star Wars movie. On top of that, you can actually build a lightsaber and become a Jedi.
Speaking of which, Disney just dropped new lightsaber chassis and blade enhancements for Savi’s Workshop at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Park, with some unique effects and upgrades.
STOP RIGHT THERE, Monster fans, Disney just dropped some concept art for one of the major attractions coming to Hollywood Studios’ Monstropolis land when it opens next year!
The new land, which is being built in the space formerly occupied by the Muppet Courtyard (and expanding into some formerly backstage space), is set to recreate the city from Pixar’s iconic 2001 film Monsters, Inc. We’ve been tracking construction on the project closely since before construction began, and now Disney has given us a NEW piece of concept art to obsess over. Let’s take a look!
