It’s the most wonderful time of the year — and for a good reason!
Disney just announced all the holiday eats and treats we can expect throughout Disney World parks and hotels, and we can’t wait to dig in! Let’s find out just what we’ll get to try this year.
The Walt Disney Company has been in a transitional phase as of late.
Since CEO Bob Iger’s return, multiple executives have come and gone, including Chief Financial Officer Christine McCarthy, who stepped down due to personal reasons. An interim CFO was brought on to take her place, but now, it looks like Disney has officially filled the role.
Well, we’ve gone from Halloween to the holidays this week in Disney World — and we are here for it!
Now we know more about the snacks coming to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (our tummies are READY!), as well as everything we’ll get to eat at the holiday pop-up shops with the hotel gingerbread displays. We’ve been keeping an eye on Disney World restaurant menus, too, and we’ve got some changes to tell you about this week.
Changes are coming to Disney World and we’re keeping up with all of them!
EPCOT is going through a massive transformation, and Magic Kingdom is getting some love too. But, we spotted some recently filed permits that could mean changes are coming to some iconic Disney World hotels — let’s get into it!
Within the four Disney World theme parks, each park has its own identity. Adventurers and explorers can visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom, while dreamers and princess-lovers may prefer a trip to the Magic Kingdom. If you love that old Hollywood era, we highly recommend a trip down Hollywood Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And then there’s EPCOT — the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. But what do these parks look like during the holiday season at Disney World?

Magic Kingdom during the holidays
Well, so far, we’ve seen holiday decorations appear at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and even Disney’s Hollywood Studios! But as the 2023 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival continues, we’re still waiting for some festive flair to end up at EPCOT.
Things are changing ALL the time in Disney World.
For example, Magic Kingdom just went from Halloween to Christmas in just ONE night. Of course, some changes aren’t quite as sudden — the EPCOT transformation, which has taken YEARS, is finally going to be done at the end of this year. Disney World restaurants are changing all the time, too, and two popular restaurants just recently added some new foods (and they sound GOOD).
Something NEW is coming to Magic Kingdom SOON!

Magic Kingdom
A brand-new show is coming to the Cinderella Castle stage THIS WEEK, and we cannot wait to check it out. Fans of Frozen will want to mark their calendars so that they don’t miss this show’s grand debut! [Read more…]
